Marriott's Maui Ocean Club - Molokai, Maui & Lanai Towers, Lahaina HI

Always a beautiful place to come and relax. The rooms and the amenities are terrific and the ocean views are unmatched. Something significant is going to have to be done about the shoreline erosion soon, or the buildings are going to wind up in the ocean. The problems stem, unfortunately, from the local and state government official's myopic and impractical policies.

Absolutely total lack of empathy. I will never stay with Marriott due to lack of compassion be opening set 15. Corporate greed!

We were among those stranded here without power or communications after the Lahaina fire. The entire staff and most of the guests handled the situation with resourcefulness and grace. The director of security personally arranged and verified disabled-accessible evacuation options and clearly communicated the limited information available to the guests. As food ran out for more guests, they fed us. As always, the people didn't let anything get in the way of hospitality. Come back when the resort re-opens, donate to Maui relief now.

Loves this hotel.it is in walkable distance form Whalers Village which is like an outlet with restaurants.

Really very nice property in great location. Visited in early June and had room with very nice view of Pool and Ocean, weather was really fantastic. We love the Pool area and all of the surrounding seating and the Pool Bar. We had drinks and food at main pool bar, everyday and had excellent and very kind service. Had drinks and Ahi Sandwich at Longhis, we had a very nice experience with Skye at the bar, he was extremely gracious and fun.
Can't beat the convenience of the Boardwalk and great places in either direction. Love going up to Whalers Village, Hula Grill, Monkeypod Kitchen, Leilani's, the ABC Store, and lot's more.
While this property may need some updating and completion of work in progress, overall it is a Beautiful Property and Amazing Setting - Location.

We loved staying here. We spent the entire week here and never left. Everything and everyone was perfect. Good food, restaurants in paradise.

Warning to prospective Marriott Vacation club owners. Don’t attend meeting for prospective owners. Worst investment of our lives. We spent over $25,000 for points that we could not use. You should not have to spend significantly more money to purchase more points in order to have the ability to book a trip when and where you would like. Also, I had to make muliple calls to receive rental car vouchers that I turned in points for. Nothing is ever done correctly and you can expect long hold times and several angry phone calls to get something you paid for. The company does not do as promised. Bottom line, this is a huge scam. We actually sold our points to a reputable buyer and Marriott exercised their right to buy the properties back. Once again I am getting a complete runaround regarding the disbursement of funds that are not even 25% of what we paid. I received an email stating funds would be disbursed 7-10 days after May 10th. It is June 5th and nothing. Typically, nobody answers the phone and after I got someone on the line I was told that the settlement department does not have a phone. I can’t even talk to someone. Please don’t invest your hard-earned money for this scam. I promise that you will regret it! Oh, plus you have almost $2,000 In annual maintenance fees for properties you can’t access. That is the price of a flight or vacation. I hope this review will prevent even one person (or couple) from making the same mistake. I honestly would not want anyone I cared for to invest in this scam.

Absolutely wonderful spot. Service staff is professional, polite, and efficient. Property is very clean and maintained meticulously. I would highly recommend this location to snyone visiting Maui.

Always the best place for our annual family vacation. I love this place the views are never get old. Our kids, neices and nephews love the pools and all amenities around the resort. I myself love the Spa by the Sea, Elle Dammers sure has the magic touch. She made me feel ten thousands better. Also Our housekeeper Florencia F she is the best. She was very sweet and so accommodated with our 7 months old baby sleeping schedules. She made sure our room was clean empty trashes made beds and left us some fresh towels. She is truly care for her job/guests. Just want to give her a thumb up!

Nice Spot for the Family & even if the family grew up and you just want to come and Chill OUT.

GM for this property is non-existent. Wrote him well in advance of my stay. He never responded and must have told his staff to do the exact opposite of my 3 room requests! Go to the Hyatt. Sell your ownership. Marriott the last 2 years doesn't care at all about their owners.

Our family had the best vacation of our lives during this stay! The hotel is located right on the most beautiful of Maui’s beaches! We could be in the pool and then walk a few feet right into the ocean. Three different pool options off of different towers of the site! The place is massive! Ocean Club staff was more than just friendly, they got to know us by name. My son knew all of the folks who worked around the pool. Free laundry facilities in site was one of my favorite features. Before we arrived, we had travel concierge from the hotel arrange vacation activities for us! They proactively reached out and helped us set up surfing lessons and other items so that our trip was seamless. They have Starbucks on site, a variety of food options and fresh seafood. We cannot wait to return!

Nice grounds (especially the pool areas). The room was average with multiple areas for improvement (AC didn't work, tub didn't drain well, drawers of the dresser wouldn't stay closed, sliding lanai door was difficult to open/close). We don't spend much time in the room so not a huge deal. Good location for a short drive to good beaches/food.

The only thing that needs to be done is to add to each room a $25 electric double burner from home depot. There are multiple BBQ's and common use kitchens to be used but people want to be able to cook in their own room.

Love love LOVE! This place made our Maui trip! So many family memories made here that I will treasure. There is a toddler splash pool with a pirate ship, turtles (sprinklers), slides, and more! The kiddos has a blast! The pools are also fantastic for all ages with basketball, volleyball, water slides, and multi depth pools. The beach is right there and is fun, though the strong sun makes it hard to be there for too long. There are also hammocks that are so relaxing to sway in! The pool area has a bar and the nachos are fantastic! The hotel is on the beach boardwalk path and we had a blast walking up and down. Whalers Village is close with a ton to walk through. We walked through all hotels on the boardwalk and this one is by far the best for families. There is also a full gym, giant board games, and even a bird Kukui that our kids loved! Stay here!

Nice accomodations, but needs some rejuvenating. There are only a couple shops in the whole complex and everything closes down by 7pm. The Westin and Hyatt areas on either side are still bustling into the evening while this place is dead.

We stayed here 8 years ago in the Maui Ocean Club Lahaina. This time we were stuck in the Lanai towers and instead of 2 bedroom/2 bath with kitchen/washer & dryer as expected (we are MCV owners) we got a connecting two bedroom convenience hotel room with a communal kitchen (7 floors down) and `laundry in another building. The staff was rude, arrogant and lazy. Our room was filthy, furnishings were dated and activities were limited. Waited 3 hours for a waitress at the pool to even acknowledge an entire section of people even after the "pool security" went up and told her people were waiting. The sales people have no problem trying to sell you points you will have a hard time using but will pay a lot in maintenance fees annually to accrue.

I had such a wonderful stay the location was super convenient right near downtown Lahaina and other amazing beaches. The outdoor pools were relaxing to dip in after a long day and the sunsets were amazing to watch on the grassy area out back. Longhi’s Italian restaurant was the move as well! Super yummy Italian food with a tropical twist
