Maui Banyan Condo Rental, Kihei HI

Perfect! Everything provided, boogie boards, beach umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear. Nice property, amenities and grounds. Parking sucks but all else ROCKS!

We stay at the Maui Banyan every other year or so and we absolutely love it! The rooms are condo style and they are always in the best shape. The grounds are immaculate, very, very clean and the staff is always super accommodating. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and so much food. With Uber being popular now, you really don't even need a car while staying here.

The only thing that may cause any hesitation is the pool, if you have children. There are a lot of owner residents that are very sticky about the pool rules and kids. While the pools are very nice, with many BBQ grills at each one, you almost need to be the only ones down there for it to be enjoyable for kids to play in the pool.

Should be 5 stars. Great location, pleasant staff, beautiful grounds and condos. Parking just terrible. They're working on it. But I was here for almost 3 weeks. Even after they started reserve parking only was able to park in my "assigned " spot twice. It's a free for all

Owner vacation rentals. You get what the owner puts into it. The Baynan has two nice pools and a great location.

I mean throw a stone and you will get a beach so the location is right across the beach

Cleaning charges - 1 star. $170+ was a total rip off for 5 days
Bathroom 1 star - am told Scandinavian prisons have larger bathrooms

I would research options before I stay here. If you are a business traveller you will most certainly dislike this condo.

I went through Costco travel and for once this was a wrong choice.

This condo is great because of it's location. It is right across a beautiful beach in Kihei. It is also very close to restaurants and bars.

The building is a little old, but still convenient.

I has two pools, two jacuzzis, plenty of spots available for barbecues and tennis courts.

Each condo has a different owner, so some of them are really beautiful and some others are not as well maintained.

Overall, it is a really nice place to spend a vacation on Maui.

Our room was small, only one towel rack, so no place for beach/pool wear. Wi-fi was terrible. Pictures on website show nice big rooms - this was the extra bedroom from a suite. Balcony super small. Said a garden view, it was a parking lot view. Wouldn't stay there again.

This place is completely mismanaged and a dysfunctional mess.

We didn't have a room number when we went to check in and after calling multiple phone numbers we finally got in touch with Maui Banyan Condo Rental.

They only gave us partial information and we had to call them again to get the door codes to our suite.

We booked a king plus 2 twin suite - and this is what they gave us on the first night. However, in the morning housekeeping came around to evict us from one of the rooms!

They tried to convince us that we had only booked one room and told us 'they had other guests coming'.

Long story short: unacceptably bad, completely mismanaged and utterly dysfunctional customer service. The Condo Rental agency (under Castle) has no staff on-site besides housekeeping. Do not book here!

Love this place. Spend every year here. Clean room, good rates. They keep the landscaping looking good at all times. Beach is just steps away. Pools, bbq, you name it they have it. Need separate pool for adults only.
