Maui Dive Shop - Maka Koa, Wailuku HI

Josh, Nick and Captain Gil will ruin diving anywhere else for you! This was a first class experience! They crew was professional, hilarious, customer focused and met needs we didn't know we had! Like coming by with an iced towel and cleaning our sun glasses.

We had an underwater "crisis" with my wife and Josh was the fastest swimmer I've ever seen! He corrected the issue and we went on our way.

Every moment of the trip was fantastic! Josh even picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel!

If you have your OWN dive gear like I did, do not book through your concierge! I paid rental prices and only needed tank and weight. Come to find out that if I had booked through the dive shop directly I would've received a discount. The concierge even spoke with the shop and asked for a discount and they were told there was none.

I can't talk highly enough about our crew and experience!

Also Nick cleans sun glasses like nobody's business!

Never been diving with the dive shop with such amazing service. This is my first time in Hawaii. My views on Maui are “a complete tourist trap” in multiple ways. But these guys helped change the view a little bit.
They were very professional in terms of their tour, helped out each & every person on the boat from the time we got on till we got off. I’ve been on many expeditions (dives & no dives) with the same amount of money paid for the tour and all the times crew performances were pretty basic - Imposing rules, asking us to do all the work, etc. But these guys went above & beyond - great food service, excellent help with dive gear, very informational, post dive information, heck they also provided dry & wet towels (what!).

The diver master we went on dive with that day wasn’t that good as he missed on pointing out sea life multiple times. But he did mention he was new. I am not bothered by that.

Best dive experience we've had in a while!

Website booking and waivers were super easy and convenient. Spoke to shope via email and phone to confirm a few things and they were prompt and helpful each time.

Picked us up from our hotel in the am, boat was all set up, plenty of space. Had coffee, fruit, and snacks. But best of it was the friendly, professional, easy to understand crew. They were awesome. Capt Gil was clear, courteous, and friendly.

Two dives on Molokini with Ernie and he was one of the best dive masters I've ever had. Clear, professional, and very friendly.

The other Dive master John was too! All helped on the surface, got our gear set and ensured we all got lunch.

Wheny wife couldn't dive either site due to clearing issue, John had the shop refund us to a snorkel rate vs the dive.

I can't recommend this shop more. 5 star and beyond will dive again.

I can't say enough good things about Maui Dive Shop. We rented equipment from them for our two fabulous dives at Mala Ramp, and everyone in the shop was super-helpful and friendly. All of the equipment was in first-rate condition, and the shop is impeccably clean and well organized. We look forward to our next trip to Maui, and will definitely use Maui Dive Shop again! Mahalo!
