Maui Kombucha reviews
11I love the food. In fact, it is my opinion, that the food here is probably the best on the island. Whenever friends and family visit, I take them here. I had a client fly in for a 9-day intensive, and they literally ate there EVERY DAY on their visit. I am currently plant-based, and probably have Maui Kombucha to thank (partially) for that. Even when I was a major carnivore,
Great place to grab healthy, raw plant-based food, kombucha, snacks and more! One of my favorite spots on the island.
Yay for vegan restaurant! Great people. Has to-go options.
We didn't have the best experience with the things we've ordered, thus only 3 stars. Kombucha was lacking in flavor. Spring rolls (to-go) were good in flavor, but wrapped really poorly, and everything fell out.: (
The food is very good here I love the nachos, the raw pizza and the salads particularly, a little expensive for the portion size. Friendly staff. I love kombucha, but I don’t not like the kombucha here. It’s very different, you’d have to try it to understand. I’ll never understand why they use paper plates and plastic forks.certainly not eco friendly and doesn’t seem smart economically either. This place is a little too dark and dirty to hang out after you finish eating in my personal opinion, though I do love the food.
Really disappointed in their booch. Tasted closer to flavored tonic water than actual kombucha. I like what they are trying to do, but I'll be sticking with the local beer.
Not bad at all for the vegan variety they have! The parking is just around the corner from the place and this place was not hard to find.
The place is kinda hippy and almost feels like a hippy pub but people were friendly when we went in!
I did want to get a kombucha but it was a little too strong for me. They do give out samples before you buy a cup!
The food was good and very filling.
The only downside of the oat bagel was it got very dry abd crumbly. It could have used something to keep it little more moist. Overall the food was not bad:)
AMAZING! Best avocado toast ever! Best açai bowl ever! The coconut merengue they put on the açai bowl is out of this world. Eating at Maui Kombucha was the best food experience I’ve had in years.
This place has amazing smoothies, great local coffee, the best pie, and all other kinds of great food. We've been three times in the last week and love each time
Last time I visited here it was at a different location.
They used to be more hip.
We were coming in to pick up some raw cake for my partner's birthday and there were some seriously loud mouthed guys yelling as if the place was a pub or something.
It seemed a bit run down, the customer service was not great and they charged for their glass containers but had that as an only option unless you want to drink all of your kombucha right then and there.
We got some coconut cream pie and some Maui toast. The pie needed some love and flavor.
The Maui toast was a sensation!
I wish we had gone one more time before leaving the island so we could've given them another try.
Hopefully next time they will be more gracious!
High prices for esoteric hipster food. The "raw bagel"
Is nothing like a bagel at all.
Super hard to eat without making a large mess. Horrible food combining. Trendy and hip, but a poor excuse for a healthy food options restaurant. More like milking the kombucha fad. It eats your teeth away.too acidic.caffeine.legal stimulants.drugged food.
What can I say about this place: they are just the nicest folks ever. The service was solid. And the booch was creative. (If you cant decide, have a flight!) We drove quiet a ways to stop and see them. Next time I hope we have time to stay a bit and enjoy the food. There seems be a wide variety of things to nibble, drink, and eat. The nuts were great too!
