We did the kayak/snorkle tour. It was amazing! We saw a lot of different fish, and turtles while snorkeling.

Loved it! Family of 4, we’d never kayaked are novice snorkelers and we had a great time! We saw great views of Maui and so many turtles. I had one swimming up right next to me. Ryan was knowledgeable, helpful and easy going. My two kids 10 and 12 had a great time. Small group was perfect. You should definitely sign up for this one!

Had a great guided kayaking with our guide Ryan! The ride was super smooth and being out on the water was a great way to take in Maui’s beauty. Ryan was also fun and informative - we learned tons about the islands’ history and culture.

We had a pleasant experience snorkeling. Our coach was very helpful and he made sure everyone was safe. Swam next to a few amazing turtles!

This ocean kayak / whale watching / snorkeling trip was one of the highlights of our visit to Maui! For almost the entire 3 hours, we were within a long stone's throw (minimum legal distance of 100 yards) from humpback whales, and also saw green sea turtles (Honu), monk seals, and even a reef shark close up! The tour guide Ryan was exceptional as well, excursions on Maui do not get any better than this! Thank you Ryan and Maui Ocean Sports for an exceptional tour!

We had a great time today with our guide Ryan. He did a great job connecting with the different people in our group, and he shared his knowledge of the islands and some great places to visit and get food. We got to see whales in the distance and turtles swam right up to the kayak. Very cool experience!

We booked a two-hour paddle on our last full day on Maui in hopes of seeing Humpback Whales up close. With Ryan as our guide we were lucky enough to see 3 or 4 different groups of whales including a baby calf that was practicing breaching. It was a gift to hear and feel these beautiful creatures as they navigated the area. Two of the lagoon's Monk Seals also came around to say hello as did a small green back turtle. This two-hour paddle was the best money we'd spent on an activity in Maui. Ryan was knowledgable, fun and incredibly respectful of the environment and the needs of the animals. Having his adorable companion Mia along for the ride rounded out an experience I will never forget. If you don't time for a full-day excursion, I would highly recommend this two-hour paddle; the view of the West Maui mountains, the sun on your face, humpbacks, monk seals, turtles.what more do you need? The experience will remain with me forever. Mahalo

The tour was very fun. Even for an absolute kayak novice the tour was manageable. Rental fins fit very well and were comfortable. The kayaks conveniently waited on the beach for us. Ryan was a good guide and informed us about the wildlife and a bit of Mauis history. Value for money was very good. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Ryan was a fantastic guide! The kayaking was easy paced and Ryan provided great guidance and history of the islands. Highly recommend the kayak tour for those who want an easy going and enjoyable experience without snorkeling.

This review has nothing to do with Ryan our guide. He was great. Intelligent, thorough, very helpful. We were the only couple there so it was a solo trip with him. The description is definitely embellished. We saw ONE turtle for maybe 10 seconds, that's it, not even one fish, but that was not the fault of Ryan, just a bad day. Skies were partly cloudy so poor visibility in water. If you want to just paddle out past the waves and come back in for a boring 1.5 hour ride, this is the deal for you. Way overpriced at $120+ for 2 people, plus we had to tip the guy. Sorry, but I felt it was a rip off and would NOT return or recommend it.

Pretty cool experience, seeing all of the sea turtles. I couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. The guide was stellar, for sure. I didn’t want this tour to end.

Also, the little tiny dog was an added highlight.

We spent 11 days on Maui and this was by far the best thing we did while on the island. We did the kayak and snorkeling excursion. The main destination of the excursion is a "turtle cleaning station" where turtles hang out and get cleaned by fish. Swimming around that rock and in nearby areas, I saw a total of 16 turtles, and plenty of other sea creatures as well. As the guide said "I can't promise that you'll see turtles, but you'll see turtles. "
