Maui Sands Condos, Lahaina HI

Nice place to stay in Maui. The Fish market is across the street and the harbors are located relatively close to the condo. They provide fans to try and provide air flow, but the entire condo remains hot and stuffy even with them all on and the ac under the window is on as well. Just know, it will be hot and stuffy in the condo.

While yes this place has a nice view and is close to the water, that does not make up for the bugs crawling all over our condo. We had a 2 bedroom condo. I could not even place my bowl on the counter or table without bugs getting into it. There was a collection of dead bugs in the light in the bathroom. The ac unit dripped water all over the floor behind the couch, there were holes in the material of the sliding door, single load of laundry cost $3 ($1.75 to wash and $1.25 to dry). The laundry is set up like a laundry mat, there’s a limited number of washers and dryers so if you go at a time where a lot of people are doing laundry, you may have to wait. Not to mention the washers and are extremely small, I could only fit two blankets and two pillow cases in the washer and that was pushing it. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and firm. A lot of the towels we had were stained and looked like they weren’t washed, I’m not sure if the owners put food in the cabinets or if it was left by people who previously stayed there, but there was food in the freezer and cabinets, I have no idea how old any of it was. The condo itself had a nice layout and there’s newish appliances and furniture, however mostly outdated. I am just a little disappointed at the fact that I could not sit at the table or eat or cook anything without having to worry about bugs. Other condos may not have has as many issues or had different issues, but this was my experience.

Memorizing oceanfront views. You can't beat any place like it. It's an experience, you will want to come back!

My husband and I just stayed in room 1G for our 25th wedding anniversary The room was very nicely updated. The location is great and the ocean is very close with an amazing view. However, the bedroom was very hot because the room only has 1 air conditioner in the living room. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing iv'e ever slept on. My husbands back still hurts from sleeping on it and I actually slept on the sofa bed to stay cool.

Great pool & very close to the ocean. Everything is in walking distance.

This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! They canceled our reservation without notifying us and still have not refunded us our money. I called hotels.com where I booked it from and they are still not able to reach the manager of Maui Sands. Stay away from this property. I will be reporting to the better business bureau

I don't stay there I just clean for one of the owners of the condos but they're gorgeous inside and they're right there on the golf course and you can see the ocean.
