MCC Four Winds and Maui Magic Snorkel Tour Boats, Kihei HI

Went with Maui Magic to have a smaller boat and more personable experience. So happy I did, crew was great with good vibes.

Awesome tour. Captain and crew were fantastic. Super helpful and friendly and the Captain was able to spot both whales and dolphins which took the trip to a whole other level. Definitely the best ocean tour we've had.

Amazing experience! Fun and knowledgeable crew. Whales galore, dolphins swimming alongside our catamaran, and great snorkeling. We want to go back and do it again ASAP! Such a special experience.

Had the most amazing time with our 8 & 6 year old. Staff was courteous, kind, accommodating and practical. Explanations put our kids at ease for their first snorkel trip. Had an amazing day. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely book with them again and highly recommend for families and those learning to snorkel. We got lucky in December and had some quick whale watching on our way to snorkeling. So, so cool. Have spent many years on water and rule #1 is safety, then #2 fun. You can’t have fun if you’re not safe and this group nailed it. Had safety and fun. So. Much. Fun!

Great crew so friendly and professional. Food and drinks were excellent. Snorkeling was awesome even saw whales. Definitely Four Winds is the boat and crew to go with!

First time snorkeling.had a great time. The crew was wonderful! And for those with nearsightedness, the boat has optical snorkels!

My wife and I went on a morning snorkeling tour as part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely phenomenal! The snorkeling was amazing, food was delicious, and boat ride was awesome, but what sets Four Winds apart is the fantastic crew. They go above and beyond to make the entire experience enjoyable. They keep things very fun and are happy to answer any questions you have about the boat, ocean, or island. Plus we had the unexpected enjoyment of watching dolphins swim around us and see a fish be caught on the way out to Molokini. If you’re lucky enough they’ll even let you reel it in! Absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to do a snorkeling excursion!

The crews are super nice. They caught a fish on the way to Molokini and then made us sashimi on the way back!

Captain & crew treated our family like royalty. Thanks for all the great service and most of all for giving us extra time on spotting a rare humpback whale we turned around and got to view it got many pictures! Our toddler”s 1st ever snorkel trip and saw a whale, wow!

Best snorkel trip I’ve been on, and I’ve done Great Barrier Reef, Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica. Molokini was super special. Tons of fish. Short boat ride, so if you get sea sick like me, it’s a short ride and pretty smooth ride. Extremely smooth and peaceful today. We got to see the crew catch some fish from the back and spotted flying fish along the way. They say they see whales during migration season. Crew was AMAZING! Captain Robert was cool as a sea cucumber. Maintained safety without being a drill sergeant. No grumpy locals here. Everyone was happy to be there, having fun and making sure we were having fun and taken care of.
They even wore costumes on halloweeen, the day we sailed.
Drinks were great. They had POG, my fav, and also a ginger drink that helps calm stomachs. Would recommend drinking this at the beginning of your trip to keep it all settled.

It was one of the best experiences in the ocean and in Maui. Strongly recommended! The crew were super nice, friendly and professional. Especially, snorkeling instructions was really helpful and easy to understand. I'm not a confident swimmer but it was really easy and comfortable. I had a great time this morning. Thank you, a lot, Four winds!

We had an amazing time! The crew was very attentive and helpful. Dane was so kind and we enjoyed everything about our snorkeling experience with Four Winds. Went this morning. Great staff and vibes. Forgot my underwater camera but they had everything we needed available. Very knowledgeable crew and great experiwnce

Our entire family had such a blast. We felt safe the whole time everyone was very kind and we saw lots of undersea life. The crew was 5-stars! Everything was This was our second time to molikini!

This was one of the best tours I have been on. I was snorkeling with my 80 year old mother and they were so accommodating and helpful. We saw turtles, dolphins and a monk seal! So much fun and great entertainment. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the bad review is due to the parking lot scam going on at the port. The staff on the boat was great however there is an obvious shady business going on where we forgot to pay the $5 to park so they towed my car and made me pay $300 + 35 taxi to get it back. Not a good experience unfortunate for the crew but if that’s how the parking lot rolls a heads up from the crew would be nice. My fault that I missed the signs but this is an excessive money grab. My group of 4 spent 800+ for the tour plus $335 bc we didn’t see the signs to pay for parking bc we were rushing to make it to the boat by 7a.

Edited* although I do now see the mention of parking in the confirmation email that has a lot of other details in there as well and is not the focal point. If the parking was mentioned by the crew I don’t think myself and another group traveling with my group would have not paid the $5 to park. Furthermore the crew refused to let us get up to the top deck which is the only place you can hear the loud speaker bc it was too full for us up there. You cannot hear any announcements in the back of the boat where we sat. I think a heavier emphasis on this would be appropriate since I don’t think anyone would be ok getting back to find their car has been towed and then have them tow it to a place that costs a $35 taxi ride plus $300. This situation ruined our experience with the already pricey endeavor plus the hassle of grabbing a $35 taxi that ran out of gas. I understand the parking is a separate business however the point of reviews is to give future customers a heads up when someone has a bad experience. I was not there for the parking company, I was there for the boat tour. Therefore anyone looking for a review of the boat tour should be aware of this.
