I went to find a restaurant within walking distance from the hotel, but when a customer came in, he just passed by and after a while, he was shown to a table and served Hamheung chasa again.
After about 10 minutes, I took my order and left.
No water provided, no side dishes provided.
After more than 10 minutes have passed
They didn't even give me water because food came first.
When I said there were no cutlery and no side dishes, the man who seemed to be the owner said there were no employees and told me to be thankful that I could at least eat this.

It wasn't a weekend, it was a weekday, and there were 2 middle-aged women serving about 15 tables. I understand that the service was late because they were busy, but they served it.
Water was spilled on the table next to the guest, food was different from what was ordered, the service was literally 0, and the middle-aged male employee was.

It's great to eat when you're craving Korean food or when you're feeling low on energy. Soybean paste stew is more like thick soup served in an earthen pot rather than what we think of as stew, and kimchi stew is more like the sweet stew served when you order it at a bar. I ordered half a chicken, but it all came out as wings. It's delicious. Even if the Koreans working there aren't friendly, it's okay. They're not unfriendly.

They are friendly and the food is delicious. I am grateful that I can eat Korean food abroad and I hope you enjoy it.

Been here several times and Mikawon has never disappointed. First time eating Von's chicken during this visit. It was delicious! My favorite are the beef galbi. The namyeon was very very delicious and refreshing in the heat

My significant other and i got take out and tried the crispy honey wings which was very cripsy and juicy the flavor was okay to me, he thought it was good not sure what kind of powder seasoning they used but you could definitely taste the sugar and we also got the bibimbap which was meeh I’ve had better. We sat at the bench waiting inside and seen a huge roach in vase at the end… not sure if was from the door being opened what service was average.

We kept walking by this place every evening back to our place and it’s always busy so we thought we’d check it out. Worst Korean fried chicken ever! They have a sign outside that claims to be “the best Korean Fried Chicken” but it was super dry, like it wad 2 days old and re-fried. Seafood pancake had way too much flour and did not look appetizing. Service was terrible, all our food came and we didn’t even get our small dishes to eat off of, and had to ask for them. Kind of treated like “second-class” citizens whereas the tables with Koreans got service right away.

Great food and service! Workers could tell we were visiting as BTS ARMY and took pictures of us and showed us where the guys sat and let us sit by the sign they made. But in all honesty the food was absolutely delicious and it all arrived quickly, cant wait to go back

I was worried 'Has something changed? ' because of the low rating, but they showed me the best Korean food out of all three trips to Hawaii. On my first and second trip to Hawaii, I visited every day for dinner with my children.thank you for the delicious food

Well. I've been in California and there are a lot of Korean restaurants. Some are good, some are bad. But this restaurant is one of the worst Korean restaurant I've ever seen. Okay.the price, I can admit the high price because of the location. However the taste? WTH? I hope they shame on themselves.

If you're not going to die tomorrow because you haven't eaten Korean food in 10 years, I absolutely recommend it. The soybean paste stew and seafood pancake are the worst I've ever eaten in my life. It's expensive too.

Rude waitress, who could hardly say hello, wanted us in and out as fast as she could, then when I asked for chopsticks she told me I don't need them, that really passed me off, food was good but service let's it down

I am Korean, visit from CA. I went here for dinner with my family. I never ever eat before just like this food. Seafood pancake taste only flour, also cannot find seafood. Kimchi fried rice is not good taste.

I'm Korean, and I'm traveling from California. I stopped by for dinner with my kids and my husband, and I was afraid that real foreigners would think that all Korean food is like this. Seafood and green onion pancakes were so full of flour that it was hard to find seafood, neither kimchi fried rice nor red kimchi fried rice, and soybean paste stew.
I usually don't use it, but the person who cooks should change.

I decided to change/edit my review of this place. When I first moved here we ate at this place regularly. The food was worth the long wait and bad service.
It's just not worth it anymore. Especially if you order takeout.
They don't care about quality on takeout orders.
They put hardly any sauce on the wings. Nothing like they advertise for Von's Korean fried chicken on their poster or pictures. Just order or go to Von's if that's what your looking for. My wings had just a few drops of sauce on one side. This isn't the first time either.
I also have issues with cross contamination. I watched the woman who took my order. She was preparing food, then with her gloves still on, took my credit card, swiped it, tapped all the dirty, sticky looking buttons, handed it back and continued to work on the food she was preparing when I walked up to the window without changing gloves. That is a food safety violation. I will not be going back anymore.

Mikawon provided fantastic food at a reasonable prices, prompt and polite service, and a nice, calm atmosphere for our late lunch today. We have no clue what the reviews talking about bad service are about - they were nothing but polite and accommodating to us!
