As a visitor from the mainland, I can appreciate the style and it looks lowkey. We’ve passed it for a few days but today we finally got gas here. The parking lot is terrible and tight, we almost got sideswiped three times in the span of a minute. Insane. I understand this isn’t Minit’s fault, but I mean still, come on folks. The gas pumps also kept glitching out.

Funny how people's perceptions can differ so much. My experience as a off-and-on regular customer means that I sometimes use this Minit Stop three times a day, when I am on island. I've always found the food delicious, the service great, and the treatment by the staff to be courteous and genuinely friendly, full of Aloha spirit.

I was treated poorly by rude staff members. The employees could use some training on proper customer service and respect. I’m disappointed that I have been “trespassed” really? Because I was recycling. Think about that! No Aloha. God sees everything. ️️

It's the best minut stop by Kawaiihae, that is to say, the only minut stop. Still you won't do better late at night for dinner, and the staff is friendly and eager to please

This is a gas station convenience store and a place to buy snacks and plate lunches. What makes this place so great is that they have banned beef on their menu. They have replaced beef with Impossible Beef. Yay!

The food.is horrible. It seems to be that way at every location. Rice is crumbly, everything is cooked in a microwave.

Hmmmm lets see. I worked there for 4 months years ago and I was treated horribly by the manager and supervisor. It was so bad that when I pulled a 14 hour shift on my own meaning only person who dealt with customers and i needed to use the bathroom 12hours into my shift and the girl that worked with me didn't understand me when I told her to watch the store, I only took a minute meanwhile customers was building up. I got written up for that because the girl didn't understand me to watch the store and so nobody was watching the store for that minute. The 2nd time same thing and I locked the door 2 minutes tops. I was threatened to be fired, but here the 1st time I get written up for taking a one minute bathroom break and because I was the only cashier and only one who understood the customers I'm the one who got in trouble. I worked my butt off and yes I enjoyed the job cuz the customers was usually very nice and a couple Co workers was awesome. Now don't get me wrong im in no way blaming that girl, infact she was sweet and did a great job cooking and stocking the drinks. I blame the manager.then one day when we had 5 workers, yes 5 workers, which one was the "new supervisor " who didn't even know how to ring up a 6 pack of beer. I had to keep telling her how and all the codes etc.she thinks because she was my "supervisor" she could bully me. I was prepping bentos and musibis and once you start its like something you cannot just stop and go cash out someone, so she is like hey you have a customer, and she and the other cashier is just standing around and all this guy wanted was gas, so I said to her you are my supervisor you are allowed on my register, and she said she cannot go on my register so I take my gloves off cash this guy out apologized to the customer, and I go back to what im doing and she is nitpicking and I had it. I finished my stuffs put it in the warmers and told her im taking a break, and she told me no you're not allowed and mind you I was there going on 6 hours yes im allowed a break so I swiped out, came back less than ten minutes later and she would not quit. I was doing all the prep cleaning and cashiering while the sheand the other cashier was lollygagging. This customer who was a regular seen what was happening to me for awhile and said to me just quit. I said I cannot I need this job, I love this job, but my boss and supervisor are a pain. Then later the supervisor was acting almighty and said something and I just went in tears and said I quit and walked out. I wish I went to the head management but I felt they wouldn't believe me. And when I tried to get my job back 10 years later after they changed it up to where it seems legit now, they will not hire me. I felt I was treated unfairly. I couldn't talk to the manager cuz she was not easy to talk to and when the main boss came to visit before I quit and said if we have any problems we could always call him, I wanted to tell him what was happening but I felt intimidated cuz the manager was rite there. So now if I apply for any job I have to say" no experience" because the manager reported me in a way as "no hire". So my resume is blank now which makes it harder to fi d work. I tried to get in touch with the head of minitstop but nobody answers and nobody responds. Another thing is a few days after I quit 10 years ago I broke hip and ankle. I had 3 surgeries on it. Its not fair but its life. Anyhow nobody will probably read this but I had to get it off my chest. I just hope i can get a job saying I have no experience now. I have lost my dad recently and we are loosing our home of 25 years. I spoke to a dear friend today and she said to me i need to focus on what im thankful for. That I need to focus on the positives. She then told me her husband broke bus back 2 times and after his surgery he felldown the stairs and broke his ribs. Be couldn't use his hands to stop the fall because he had a broken wrist that was just operated on. But she said he is alive and can

This place is a scam went to fill up with gas and if you select regular make sure you check because they charge you premium. Talked to manager about it showed them the math showing it charged me wrong and was basically run out of store. DO NOT BUY GAS HERE!

Good place to stop for gas and a cold drink as you drive up the Kohala Coast or coming back from a day at the beach.

2 words: Kawaihae Chicken. You will never look at fried chicken the same again. Crunchy as chicarrone. 1/2 breaded & fried Potato wedges too. Get the SNACK ATTACK for the drive to Hawi or en route to beach. Hard to get after 5pm rush. This is the closest gas station aside from Waikoloa village (shell in Waikoloa Beach Resort doesn't count cause they up prices $1 over base) and the last stop on the way to Hawi town. It's also the closest grocery/convenience store for those staying near Kawaihae & Kohala Ranch. Unless, you count the "farmers market" lady as a grocery, then there are 2.
