The BEST boat tour in Kauai! Chellen was an amazing tour guide - extremely knowledgeable, great DJ, and the best captain around!

After seeing the other boats and tour options, we knew we had made the best decision with Na Pali Experience. I cannot recommend them enough and will go back every vacation!

Great experience on a smaller boat (only 6 people per boat). The captain (Drew) was great. I felt safe with him behind the wheel and he was a wealth of information, fun too. 10/10 would do again.

If you are looking for phenomenal, unforgettable tour of the Napali Coast, definitely go with Napali experience! We were chillin with Chellen as our captain! He was so nice, knowledgeable, and a great navigator of the waters around the coast! We saw tons of wildlife and he was willing to take pictures of you at every stop. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime tour by a native, definitely ask for Chellen!

We chose the afternoon adventure with Napali Experience - 6 person catarmaran. Chellen was our captain for the afternoon. We made it in time to see the Napali coast before the fog took over.

We made several small stops to see the beaches, waterfall, sea caves, and the tip of the coast. The water was rough that afternoon so we did not get a chance to snorkel or go into sea caves, but we got close enough to see through the sea caves. We also got to see 2 sea turtles and stick fish! But we made a pit stop to swim on the way back.

The tour provided us with snacks, fresh fruit, some selections of soda, and water. Super happy we booked the catamaran than the raft. Felt safe and secure - way better than the raft.

The best tour! Had the best time yesterday with our captain Candi. She was an amazing captain. Candi made sure everyone was enjoying, showed us so much, and navigated us through the coast with ease. We saw whales, dolphins, and all of the amazing sites. Highly recommend this small group tour! Thanks for a great day!

We had an amazing time on the afternoon cruise! Our captain Kandi was super friendly and knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having a great time throughout! The cruise itself was a blast and the cliffs and the water were unforgettably beautiful. It was the hi-light of our trip and I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai!

We were chillin with Chellen! All I can say is WOW what an amazing tour! Our captain/guide Chellen was so knowledgeable, had the good vibes and made sure we were all good the whole time! After being on the water for hours with this tour, I am so glad we chose na pali experience over others. We only had 6 guests on the boat and took turns in the front. Other boats don’t really have a real “seat” for you and are either tons of people or nowhere to sit. We were comfortable, educated and happy the entire time.

We got to see dolphins up waaay close and it was amazing! I didn’t take any photos of them because I didn’t want to miss one moment. 20/10 I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Kauai

Blue Dolphin Cruise along the Na Pali Coast in Kauai was fantastic. We went on the sunset dinner cruise and were very impressed with the crew, food, and beverages. We saw whales and dolphins too! I highly recommend them.

Perfect place to see Na Pali Coast! It’s breath taking, beautiful crystal clear water that you see all marine life through it. Saw at least 20 Dolphins, they come and hang out right next to the boat. Chellen our Captain made this experience unforgettable with sharing the history and stories of every corner of the trip. We visited sea caves, waterfalls, snorkeled and ate fresh pineapples! The boat only fits 6 people so feels like a private tour comparing to the rafts. That’s the highlight of our trip!

JD was an awesome captain. We had some pretty big swells so I was so glad to have an experienced captain. He was super nice as well. Even with the waves he managed to get us into 2 of the caves. We saw whales, bottle nose dolphins, spinner dolphins 3 times, turtles, fish. The coast is beautiful and it's awesome to see it from the water. I do recommend upgrading from the raft though, having shade and proper seats made it well worth it.

We greatly enjoyed our morning tour yesterday on the catamaran with captain JD. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he took great care of our seasick group member (me). Spotted dolphins, snorkeled with turtles and took a small detour to watch a breaching humpback. Awesome experience!

We had an awesome time on the 6-person catamaran tour in the morning with our captain, “chillin’ with” Chellen. The swells were larger than usual so we were unable to go into the sea caves, but the experience as a whole more than made up for it. Chellen was an exceptional tour guide and captain.

This is the way to see the Na Pali coast!

Great narration along the way from Capt. It was a fun ride and great whale detour with a finale of spectacular sunset colors and moonrise.

So so amazing! Chellen was the BEST guide. He was so nice, friendly, and positive. See the coast is a must — and make sure to do it with this company! We did the 6 person boat & really enjoyed the more intimate experience.

They took us out with such rough water we ended cutting things short.
I understand they have a captive audience that typically make reservations months or weeks in advance but the excitement of snorkeling or even enjoying a drink were not possible since u had to hold on tight the whole time.
Capt. Manu was fantastic with the stories and historical facts not to mention his boating skills maneuvering the tidal surge and surf.

If you are on the fence about booking a boat tour, or about which company to book with, do yourself a favor and book with Na'pali experience! We had the best time with captain Jackie on our cruise up the coast! We booked the speedboat tour (not the zodiac boat tour) and are so glad we paid a little extra so that we had room to spread out on the speedboat. We were able to sail close to a pod of dolphins that eventually came right up to our boat to say "hi"! We stopped for a lot of photo opportunities, went into a few sea caves, and stopped for snorkeling and a snack! This was truly an experience, not just a ride up the coast! Captain Jackie was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the different features and landmarks along the coast, and it felt less like a tour, and more like a friend showing you around. This was the highlight of our trip and we can't wait to come back to Kauai and do it again!

We had a great trip with Capt Drew! It was the most beautiful morning and we were lucky enough to see many dolphins and whales. Capt Drew was very accommodating and had so many interesting facts to share about the island and local wildlife. Highly recommend!

Wow, is all I can say! This was an unreal experience for myself and my 3 friends. Not only did we have the best captain, captain Drew, but we saw dolphins, whales, goats, AND turtles! Captain Drew was extremely knowledgeable of the Na’Pali coast, it’s history and geological characteristics and was able to show us all the iconic caves alongside the coast. The coast, mountains, water, snorkeling, snacks and drinks AND photo opportunities were bountiful. Definitely an unforgettable trip that I will be sharing with others when we visit again.

Amazing tour! Must do! Booking was easy and all the information and advice given ahead of time is super helpful. Our boat had a mechanical issue just as we left the dock and the mechanic (Toby, saved the day) was there in no time, fixed it and we were on our way instead of having to reschedule! Captain Roy was fantastic and shared tons of information with us! Got to see spinner dolphins, whales, seals, and a sea turtle and numerous fish while snorkeling. Napali coast was unimaginably beautiful and we were even able to go in and out of sea caves! Take motion sickness meds to be safe even if you’ve never been sea sick before, especially if this might be the roughest waters you’ve been on. We had some sickness in our group but it didn’t ruin our day!

Add Na Pali Experience with Captain Jackie to your Kauai adventure list! 6-person boat plus captain, comparable cost (actually less) than larger boats for same experience. Jackie set the tone for a perfect vibe on boat. Fun, knowledgeable, impressive skill set. Scenery unlike anywhere else in the world. 5 star experience!
