Na Pali Riders, Waimea HI

This was sooo fun! Mikayla was very sweet and helpful, and Captain Chris was knowledgeable and set the vibes with some good tunes. The sights were amazing and we spotted some groups of whales!

Safety on this excursion was substandard. Our boat started taking on water and Captain Chris had to use the paying customers to help man his manual bilge pump because the electrical one would not work (batteries under water I assume). No mention of where the life jackets were or even offered while he frantically tried to decrease the water coming into the boat. There was no safety briefing prior to heading out …on the life jackets or even where they were in the boat. At check in it was very odd that we were asked if we could swim and whether we wanted a life jacket. I asked if there were life jackets on the boat and was that told there were. Why we weren’t asked to all put life jackets on at the start of the trip is a safety feature I was surprised they did not do. The boat travelled at extremely high speed and a life jacket certainly should be a must. I do not recommend this tour to any one. By the luck of the gods our crippled boat made it to shore (cutting our tour short) with paying customers pumping water out of the back and our captain steering the boat. BTW no compensation was offered to anyone!

This raft adventure was AMAZING. The crew was kind, knowledgeable and stoked to share their love of Kauai! 100% worth the early rise. If you are looking for a fun and exciting adventure, BOOK THIS! You won't be disappointed! Many thanks to Captain Chris and Makayla!

Wonderful experience and once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Na Pali coast from the water, tons of dolphin and humpback back whales. Captain Chris and Lindsay were fantastic!

Did 7am tour with Captain Chris and Makayla. Checking in was easy and Makayla started us off with great energy to get us excited to go! Not long after we started, we encountered a school of maybe 20 dolphins swimming along with our raft. I don't want to write a novel so I will just say I had a blast and fully recommend them!

Just make sure you're able to handle yourself if sitting at front if boat. Gotta hold on tight because it can get bumpy!

We just completed our 5th time of taking this trip, dating back to 2010, and it's different every time. The scenery is always spectacular, whether it be the towering cliffs of Na Pali, the misty waves breaking on the shore, or the rolling swells of the ocean. Add to that the occasional sea turtles that roll by, the whales that were breaching and coming by to check us out, and the bottle nose dolphins and spinner dolphins playfully checking us out, and you see why the trip is so enjoyable and memorable. But a word of warning; this trip is not for the faint-of-heart. You will go FAST on a Zodiac raft with powerful motors driving you over the waves and swells, so you will bounce A LOT, HARD. My wife and I are 65-years old and in average shape, but it was very manageable for us. If, on the other hand, you aren't up for a real thrill ride and adventure, or if you get sea sick, take a different tour, but if you want to explore caves and lava tubes, ride under water falls, snorkel in crystal clear waters, and actually see the coast with a laid back and knowledgeable captain and crew, this is your tour.

Napali riders is the boat to take if you want to see the Na Pali coast up close and personal. Captain Chris is probably one of the most experienced Captains taking people through the Sea Caves. Chris and Ani are both down to Earth and all around good people. My experience with them in the Summer of 2022 will be a fond memory for me for the rest of my life. I hope I have the pleasure of hanging out with you guys in the future

Great tour, really nice crew. Saw dolphins, went snorkeling, heard about the Na Palo Coast. 10/10

We booked this for snorkeling and views, but we got is a joy ride of speed boat. They put 28 people on large raft and we were shoulder to shoulder. Crowded for sure.for 30 min you might enjoy this joy ride with bumps shaking your back. He coves a lot of area but in rush. He stops for 20 sec to say something about the view and run fast again. Snorkeling was a joke, we might see more fish from shore. At the end of the day, if you like 3 hours of thrill ride, this is the place.

This reply below is so rude as they are saying its my fault. Are yo paying for my summer trip? At no point they told us "I am fortunate" to get there or talk about no fish in this season or breeze ride. Let me be clear, its my opinion and I paid money and entitled to share. This is not our first time to Kauai or for the tours. Yours was a adventure joy ride and 30 sec stops gets no view (we get no view at 40 mph holding on with both hands and legs tucked). Your guy stopped only for your lady to take pictures and not us and try to sell that package, there are places he did not even turn the boat around for all of us get the view too. His goal was to reach the point and run. Trust me, I loved the speed ride but would I would have loved 2 miles less ride and have stop over for longer for pictures and view. People who might have give you reviews as they never been to a good island like Kauai and everything is fascinating. I didnt expect anything other than sorry we did not meet expectations, but your reply is so rude and for the novice. You sold on false advertising. I think you should take mai tai sip before telling us.sell your service and not the Island and don't bask on Island beauty but take inputs to fix/adjust.

Our favorite thing we’ve done so far! My wife couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. We saw dolphins and amazing waterfalls and caves. We got to snorkel and see beautiful fish. The owner and captain Chris was so awesome and mckayla the captain in training were both so fun. We went in the rainy season and it was so awesome we got rained on, big sea spray and then calm waters as well. It was amazing

This tour was INCREDIBLE! An absolute must! Captain Chris and McKayla were so fun, taught us so much and really made the trip special. Chris told us all the best places to go for the beach and food and we did his recommendations and loved them!
I wish they had openings tomorrow, I’m ready to go again! They also take beautiful photos of everything and if you so you don’t need to worry about bringing your cell phone. We had so much fun and will definitely be going on this tour again when we come next summer!

Captain Chris has great taste in music. And first mate Mikayla is also really funny. This tour gives beautiful views of the Na Pali coast. They give you a great run down and some anecdotes on the history of each stopping point along the cliffs and coastline. Saw 5 sea turtles, like a hundred dolphins, sea caves, and some crystal blue water. Went on this tour in late September. Bring your gopro!

We went on the Na Pali Raft Adventure tour today and yesterday.yesterday they had to turn around because of a thunderstorm but booked us in for today for free.
The tour was absolutely awesome. This company starts earlier in the morning than other tours so you don't have any other boats around. You'll see the Na Pali coast while the sun is still pretty low and doesn't blind you, also you can take better pictures I think.
We had beautiful views of the coastline and stopped to see dolphins here and there, and we saw hundreds of dolphins today and also yesterday. They were everywhere around the boat and we got plenty of time to watch them and take photos.
The captain is very knowledgeable, experienced and cares about your safety. Also he had a lot of insider information about the area.
Would definitely go with them again!

Had a really good experience with Na Pali riders! The crew was fun and the captain was funny. We went on the 11am to 4pm tour and had an amazing time, such a magical coast and hopefully I’ll come back again! I would recommend going in the morning if you aren’t up for some crazy bumps for a few hours.

Unique and surprising ride, visiting sea caves, seeing dolphins, and swimming with turtles. Much recommended!

Captain Chris and Sean did such an amazing job taking care of us as they took us in a tour of the Na Pali Coast to see the sights, learn the history of the coast, swim in the North Pacific Ocean (with a sea turtle and tons of fishes) and saw over 200 dolphins just hanging out! Amazing trip and unmeasurable experience!
