Fantastic place to rent any gear you need. Super easy to work with and gave fantastic advice on spots and coniditions.

This place is amazing! The staff is super nice and they have a nice variety of things to buy. The rental prices are very cheap, too!

I only rented an umbrella and the service was good and quick. They also have free water which is good if you’re at the beach for awhile.

The guy who runs this place is great! He will tell you everything you want to know about rental boards and where to surf. He can also tell you some great stories about growing up on the beach at Poipu.
The swap meet that they have once a month is a great place to pick up an old rental board for a great price.

My 14 and 12 year old had a 1 hour lesson and they had a blast. The instructor Adam was amazing and I highly recommend him. It was really easy to check in and the surf spot was beautiful! The instructor Adam really gave them good tips. They liked it so much that we went back the next day to rent boards.

My wife & I took a surf lesson with the Nukumoi crew this afternoon. These guys are very friendly, affordable, knowledgeable & all about making sure you have a great time.
While the whole squad was helpful & fun, we were lucky enough to have Jimmy as our personal instructor. Jimmy is rad & keeps it fun while still being informative 100% of the time. My wife has never been surfing & he had her standing confidently by her second wave (no joke). So, if you’re thinking about taking a surf lesson on the south side of Kauai & want the best experience/atmosphere, hit up Nukumoi Surf Co!
Also, they’ve got all kinds of great merchandise/gear & very affordable rentals for just about everything. We’ll be back for sure to take another lesson or rent some gear and get out for our own adventure soon.

My son and his "friend from France" rented boards here for a week, and they were both very happy with the price points, location, (south side) selection, friendliest service, and also the ability to exchange their boards during the week. That one was a game changer for sure ️ My son exchanged his boards 3 times in 8 days! Well be back here when we return in May! See ya then? Mahalo

We have been renting snorkeling gear for the last 10 years when on vacation in Kauai. I can't remember there names (sorry) but this time both the lady that checked us and the man that checked in our gear were fantastic. Really like these guys. We'll be back. Great job.

We rented snorkel equipment from this company and had quick service, clean gear, and an easy return. It was pretty cheap, too! Highly recommend!

Just finished our first surf lesson and would give it more than 5 stars if possible. Adam was our instructor and he was beyond exceptional! He was very attentive, patient and eager in helping us catch a good wave! He even went over our alotted time just so we can end on a good run. Would highly recommend working with Adam! Thank you!

Great family owned place with great prices and wonderful vibes! Connor Helped us both times that we were in for a surfboard, snorkeling equipment, chairs and reef walkers. He was personable and knowledgeable and raved about the family owned company. If you’re in Poipu this is the place to rent your gear and find great clothing and people!

This place is very convenient and walkable to some beginner spots. I only went for rentals and was given a map for beginner spots. The map was a good starting point but we weren't given more information on when good waves are or high tide low tide, etc. So go with the exact questions you have don't expect extra support. And inspect the boards before leaving as we were charged for a pre-existing ding (but it was only $5 so not too expensive).

Super friendly staff. Reasonable rental prices. Directly across from the beach. Picked up some water shoes here so I could walk in the water without killing my feet. Nice experience all around.
