More than a luau, it was an interactive walkthrough of Polynesian culture. Friendly staff, excellent food and incredible views. Definitely check it out.

Had a lovely time at the luau! Great entertainment, lovely hosts, and a phenomenal view. They definitely give it their all! Intimate setting, about 70 people unlike some of the other luaus that are a couple hundred. Mahalo

This was my first visit to Hawaii and I really wanted to do less of the typical tourist things and spend more time exploring the island and learning about it. My one exception was wanting to go to a Luau as I knew I’d learn about some of the island history there and try some authentic food. After endlessly searching for the right one, I’m so happy we landed here. It was a very small group of people (maybe about 30) versus the 700+ that some of the others had. This made it very intimate and I never felt like I missed information or a bite of the amazing meal provided. Everyone really made us feel like family. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a smaller more intimate Luau versus the big shows and buffets.

Great team of people who really put on a luau as if it were their first one. They were all wonderful and took the time to educate on the Hawaiian culture as well as create a fun experience for the guests. They are the #1 luau in Ohau for a reason.

Really fun luau with great food. From the drive up to the event itself this is a great experience and everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. The history, cultural information and performances are fun and interesting and the opportunity to hang out or try activities makes it feel like you aren't being rushed from one thing to another. The food and drinks were really good, so much we were too full for seconds though they were offered. The transportation to the event was also very nice and our driver gave us a lot of great beach info and fun trivia during the drive. Definitely skip the hotel luau!

I took my husband and mother-in-law to Nutridge and we had a wonderful time! It was an intimate experience (less than 70 guests) and the team were super friendly and VERY funny! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it - we were all allowed seconds but we could hardly stand after our first plate let alone go back for more.
Whilst it wasn’t cheap, it’s comparable to the other luaus and we enjoyed that there were no “tiers”; everyone there was given the same experience. We don’t drink alcohol and mentioned that on booking, and they gave us additional tickets for non-alcoholic beverages to use during dinner instead.
Would highly recommend this experience!

TOTALLY fun, intimate, and an all-round great time. You'll laugh till your sides ache. Food was great (it's a luau so NO vegetarian options), the people were great, and even introverts make new friends. Don't miss.

We took our grandchildren and we all had a great time. Wonderful dancing and singing and teaching Hawian words, history and culture in a small group family setting. About 40 in attendance and we got to know many people. Absolutely wonderful. Our friends who had been to other luaus said this was best they had ever been part of.

Beautiful wedding venue for ceremony and reception! It’s in the heart of town of Honolulu, located in a convenient location. My favorite thing here is the cute swing under the tree!

Just heavenly! So much fun. Like partying with super down to earth friends. We all danced the night away and enjoyed the farm-to-table goodies. The show was super humble and personal with culture as the centerpiece, not huge Disney style showmanship. Different and much appreciated Experience in this world of over the top and more-is-better, you know? We left hugging everyone.

Absolutely wonderful, authentic and lovely luau, dancing, performances, food, location and people!
We had such a great time taking visitors that came into town that we turned around and took another set of visitors back again a few weeks later. I highly recommend this location for the best luau we've seen on the island.

A lot of the draw to this particular Luau is the location and the beautiful view it affords of the city, the sunset, and the beautiful grounds. So, when it rained, the sunset was not visible, the city barely so, and it was challenging to walk around and appreciate the grounds. It would have been understandable if they cancelled and refunded everyone, but they chose to hold it anyway, which I did appreciate, but I think with poor weather there should be a significant discount, because the experience is significantly less amazing. Furthermore, it kind of felt like, at ~7: 30 we were being rushed out of the tent and off the property. They present the luau as being part of a 'family' but being rushed out in that way did not feel like 'ohana' at all. It would have been nice, after the activities, to have 15-30 min to continue to sip drinks, ask questions, enjoy company, before having to leave.
All that said, is definitely a more intimate experience than you'll get at other locations, isn't commercialized or a production in the same way. While that's nice, there also can be something impressive about high production value Luau's with larger, more impressive shows. You just have to decide what you're looking for.
