Ohana Seafood Bar and Grill, Kihei HI

So glad we did not miss this before our trip was over. Hallie was wonderful, happy hour prices on drinks are great and the ahi was one of the best I have had. The Ohana burger was one of the best I have had on the Islands! Great spot!

Can’t get sushi like this on the mainland. Ahi roll was absolutely packed with tuna. Don’t get the full order unless you are super hungry. Everything else was just as good. Coconut shrimp and onion rings were very tasty. Our waitress was the sweetest.

Fun little place, enjoyed outdoor music. Food was very good and we had some great servers. Wish it was open later!

I am a local regular. I ordered the Ohana sampler which had the coconut shrimp and Kahlua pork roll which was great. What was terrible was the deep fried crab roll. My friend ordered it said same thing. I told the server it was terrible butt no compensation was made on my bill for the food I couldn't eat.

Poke fish was old and gross. When the waiter came by to ask if the food was good I told him but he seemed to overheared it? Seems like he did not care

Definitely get the seafood. Obviously you’re at a seafood bar so that’s probably what you’re here for, but I got the burger and it was mediocre. Bun was soggy and patty was fully cooked (not medium rare like I asked for) and the thing was a mess. Had to eat with a fork and knife when I was half way through.

The coconut shrimp and fish and chips were good though.

For some reason the water we got tasted strongly of metal- not drinkable in our opinion, which was unfortunate.

Overall okay food. They have live music which was really fun and the reason we stopped.

Service was top notch! Nick was our waiter, but obviously a team effort. And the music was really good. Jason does his own arrangements, so you'll hear familiar tunes in a new way. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed sitting outside with a distant view of the water and a lovely breeze. We were starving after arriving on the island. This place was open so we decided to try.

I had a surf and turf, a marinated beef with shrimp and sides of garlic mashed potatoes and white rice. Bae had grilled fish of the day (mahi mahi) on top of a seafood risotto. To start, I had a Virgin Sunset drink; yummy! I made the mistake though of taking a bite of the pineapple before my food came; changed my tastebuds and the pineapple wasn’t even good. Everything else I ate I didn’t like. I can’t be sure that wasn’t because of the pineapple though. Bae didn’t love his fish or risotto but the vegetables were very fresh.

Loved it! Sit outside and enjoy the music. Food was good and great atmosphere. Really overpriced sushi though.

Excellent happy hour. $5 mai tai is loaded. Coconut shrimp is tasty. Awesome sunset view across the street.

I’m giving stars because the service and drinks were excellent but the food were very bad the Ohana salad was made with no fresh romaine and tangerines from a can and the sampler plate …

Great food at this restaurant! The live music was nice too that they have in the evenings. Would definitely recommend eating here if you are in Kihei!

Staff was so friendly when we arrived. Drink specials all morning we're fantastic and the food was excellent. It's a local favorite and now our favorite too. Met some relatives here for brunch and had a wonderful time.

Food and drinks were SO bad. Go to Three’s Bar & Grill next door instead.

Got the Hulihuli chicken. It was dry (even the leg), potatoes were cold, and vegetables were undercooked. Drinks were awful. Only stayed for 10 mins before we had to leave.
