Paia Bay Coffee Bar reviews
16Devon is a great bartender. Her promptness and attention to detail warrants a visit back. In chaos, she kept control and attended to those with thirst. Will come back as long as she is there.
The new location of Paia Bay coffee bar is fabulous! The restaurant is nicely decorated and breezy, there was no wait for a table and the service was top notch. Our food and drinks were excellent. We will definitely make this spot part of our regular routine.
Food, beverages, and service always great! Comfortable outdoor seating at the busy corner if Hana Highway and Baldwin in the heart of Paia Town. Ambiance could use some charm, i.e. Plants, a little other decor in keeping with the historic town of Paia. Will return often.
Great new venue! They redid the place so nicely!
Food delicious!
Staff friendly and efficient
Mimosas great!
Good food, very chill and nice waiters:) maybe a little slow but I guess that’s just the Hawaii spirit
Coffee tasted like they bought their beans from Costco and branded it “Paia Bay”, no prices listed, and charged $8 for a mediocre (at best) latte.
Tourist trap.
Waited 45 minutes for a to-go bagel. The online menu is inaccurate. Garbage. My coffee was cold.
I loved this Cafe the staff were so lovely and friendly and helpful and the food was great, you just have to try the Pineapple, brie croissant yummo. Good atmosphere and I was happy just to chill out here.
Love this place. Warm & welcoming! Breakfast was delish and the service was amazing! Highly recommend it.
May 2023 update: breakfast. Hookipa Sando was good. GF bread fresh. A bit thin on items inside. Potato wedges good $17. Extra fees for various non dairy creamers. Atmosphere geared towards tourists less so local scene. Old Review; So hoping they can get this new place running good. Things to work on service, food as good as last spot, and the ambience of old place was charming. The new place doesn't have the vibe. I'll check back in a month.
Over 45 minutes for a bagel sandwich from the "to go" window is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I'm a very patient person and totally can get on board with Island Time but almost an hour for a bagel. Nope.
I will never come here again.
Best brunch on island! They have great espresso martinis and $5 Mimosas all day every day! Definately a must
House Coffee was burned, menu is lame, we ordered food and I asked for sugar and cream to fix the coffee and the waitress sent me to the bar, the cream was in a weird container bottle, hard to handle, no trash can, no sugar, just stevia, I had to ask for real sugar 3 times, they finally gave me some sugar, I had to carry the sugar packages in my hand because they have no trash can at the bar, I went back to seat at the table and after waiting another 10 minutes for the food I saw that the neighbor table had sugar and cream at the table… what kind of service is that? I have to cancel the breakfast and run out of that racist place.
Overhyped coffee bar. Slow service. We had ordered Caramelized onion and Avocado Sandwich. Both were underwhelming. Bread seemed like it came out of toaster. No balance of flavors. It took 20mins to serve the food. Not worth the price
I love this coffee bar in Pa'ia! The lavender lemonade iced tea was delicious. I came back on another day waiting for the shops to open and treated myself to another. Delish! The wait staff was super friendly!
