Panda's Thai Food Truck reviews
7Such a fun find on the North Shore. YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! Pad-thai and fried rice.hit the spot without feeling too heavy after a long day on the beach in the sun!
Took a bit long for Vegan Spring rolls, so i went to ask and she looked like she forgot the order. To me, looked like they forgot to take out of the fryer as the dough was very hard and quite dark.
I mentioned it seemed overcooked, but they said it was like that.i tasted it but couldn't continue to eat after one bite.
Hence couldn't recommend the vegan rolls to anyone (if it is their style to cook it like that).
Beware of the slow delivery. Food was great but they took 45 minutes to prepare food.
Best Thai food on the North Shore! We stopped here on our way back from the beach and it was so good. We got yellow shrimp curry and there was plenty for 2 of us. The flavors were great and the service was friendly. It took probably 15 minutes to prepare and had a nice covered seating area. Highly recommend!
The Thai Basil with Shrimp is worth it! It has a lot of flavor so it will be worth your money.
I have heard friends talk about the excellent food from this truck so I drove out from Kailua to get dinner. It was well worth the drive. First of all, chef Panda is very friendly with a great personality. I ordered vegan curry and stir fry for my son and he thought it was some of the best that he has had in Hawaii. I got pad Thai and Pad Kra Pao and the taste was authentic Thai and some of the best Thai food I have had. I highly recommend this food truck.
Sadly, tonight wasn’t the usual as this place usually has OKAY food (though so do the other 8-10 Thai trucks on the North Shore), tonight uggh. Soup tasted like it had a 1/2 cup of salt added to the pint, probably a mistake? We called figuring we’d be met with a simple “we’ll make you another or a credit for next time ”, since it was inedible and like everything these days, expensive; Instead we got put on hold with no response, then called back and told put water in it to “calm it down”. This is not a fix unless you want three gallons of salt water. A little Aloha would go a long way here.
