Paniolo Greens, Waikoloa Village HI

The suites were not only nice but very roomy. We only encountered a couple of problems: the landline telephone didn't work. Also, driving at night was difficult because the lighting was poor. They need to add more lights so people can see where their going.

Great rooms with lots of space. On a beautiful golf course right next to a convenient shopping area. My only complaint would be that it’s an additional charge per day to use the air conditioning. Even so it’s a great place to stay for a great value.

I stayed in room I203 which was a two bedroom apartment. The fit out is a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. Kitchen was sufficiently appointed to cook meals which we did often given the cost of things in Hawaii. Washer and dryer in the apartment was convenient. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes the best so we washed them ourselves. You could rent beach chairs which was convenient. Car parking is allocated and located outside the front of your apartment. Nice view of the par 3 tee where we could critique everyone's drive. We didn't opt for paying for air conditioning - for one night it would have been nice to have air con when there was no wind, but I could still sleep. The golf course does do some maintenance in the wee hours of the morning, it didn't disrupt my sleep, but it affected my wife a little. Good value. I would stay again.

It was an amazing experience staying here. Clean and nice, and the view is breathtaking! The jacuzzi was amazing too! I love everything about this resort! Surely coming back!

Nice accommodations. Decor could use some updating but not horrible. Since our condo was in the golf course the early morning sprinkles and mowing woke us up. Have to pay for AC. We decided to just have windows open since we were gone most of the day and we were comfortable since there are ceiling fans. The washer and dryer was nice to have but didn't fill all the way so had to do small loads. The dishwasher was old and didn't clean very well. We would stay there again. We had a 3bed/3 bath and was very roomy.

So gorgeous here! Wish it was closer to ocean/town. Closest beach was 13min so not bad. Never ran in to any serious problems. Just enjoyed our time especially at the pool hotub and foosball. There’s also other entertainment but didn’t get to try everything out.

Very spacious, Beautiful views. Pool, hot tub & rec room area lots of fun! Not too many places to eat close by.

Don’t take a downstairs room. Third time I’ve been here and first time I stayed first level because I have a torn shoulder rotator and the “first level” has as many steps down as the upstairs units. Worst thing about this place was the noise of the people upstairs. Very bad insulation between floors. I saw the guy above and he was an older smaller man and yet it was annoyingly insane to here him walk back and forth constantly! The location in my opinion sucks. Too far from anything to do and food choice are limited. Third time I’ve been here in 6 years and I don’t own here and I’m glad because it’s my last visit. Sorry but it is what it is. I did enjoy the wild turkeys at my back door eventually morning…until I saw the guy upstairs was feeding them bread which is terrible! And the view of the golf course was excellent but that doesn’t make up for the noise.

I recently stayed at Paniolo Greens in Waikoloa and had an okay experience. The location is great, with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which was a plus. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization. The amenities were decent, but I expected a bit more for the price. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there's room for improvement.

Bare bones community - not fancy but clean and well maintained. I'd say it's worth more than we paid for it, especially given how expensive everything else is around there. Having a car is an absolute must.

This place has an audience, but I don't know who it is. The units are spacious and well equipped if dated. This was the second stop on vacation and we were able to do several loads of laundry in the in unit washer/ dryer. The resort is barren, the pool is small, the gym is a closet, and they don't open unit 8. There are several gas grills around the property. I had to try two to find one that worked. It was a nice feature. The resort is located in the no stoplight village of Wiakola (which officially isn't large enough to be a village). There is a grocery store that saves this place, and a couple places to eat that all close at 5. Wiakola is 20 mins from the nearest civilization (Hilton Wiakola Village down on the coast), and that's 40 mins from any civilization, which is the airport. You will need to rent a car. The wind is constant and strong. For a golf resort I never saw more than 4 golfers on the course a day.

This place is aimed at some who wants a spacious accommodations, is either ok traveling 60 mins+ to do anything or doesn't plan to leave, is ok with minimal amenities, and wants to eat all their meals in a well equiped kitchen.

Rooms very spacious. Method type with full kitchen and living room on the first floor. 2 bathrooms on the second floor. Shower and toilet, bathtub and toilet separated by wall. There are two of each. Equipped with washing machine and dryer. Plenty of storage. The private zone is clearly demarcated. (There is only one line of movement.) You can see a lush and majestic view from the lanai. Colorful flowers bloom and turkeys walk. BBQ areas everywhere. The pool is not so big, but there is one. A pleasant breeze blows through and is very good for relaxing.
All correspondence is in English, but it's okay if you're not good at it.
