We hosted a welcome drinks event for around 80 people in the private event area upstairs of Papa Kona. Everyone was so easy and kind to work with, and it was a breeze organizing the bar tab and pupus through Papa Kona. The food and drinks were excellent, and the upstairs space was very private and beautiful overlooking the ocean, yet felt cozy and intimate. We were easily able to play our own music and host a small program through their included speaker system. It felt very relaxed the day of and was the easiest part of organizing a wedding weekend! Truly appreciate the Papa Kona staff for one of our most memorable nights, and would highly recommend them and would use them again if needed in a heartbeat! <3

We hired Papa Kona a year before my daughters wedding. Even though we had different people in charge of her event it turned out wonderful. The buffett was so tasty and so was our donut cake.

I celebrated my 60th birthday party at Papa Kona on Monday 23 January. I love having milestone birthday parties away from home. 8 months ago, I searched and found Papa Kona on Facebook and what attracted me to this place, it was a one stop shop for me especially when I was organizing my party from Australia. Alycia was prompt in replying re venue, catering, bar, birthday cake and other vendors if Papa Kona could not provide. I was later assigned Cheyenne as my Event coordinator and she was just fabulous. I had 32 guests and trusted Cheyenne and Papa Kona with the setting up etc, even my guests who travelled from Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Mainland USA and Honolulu raved about the venue and could not believe i found this beautiful venue online. The afternoon & night of my birthday was perfect, pupus and cocktails, watched the sun set, enjoyed the sumptuous spread for dinner and then danced the night away to our DJ who provided music that i chose. My birthday cake provided was delicious and beautifully decorated. Every detail that we discussed was provided and with a beautiful backdrop of the ocean it was just magnificent and perfect. Mahalo Cheyenne and your team at Papa Kona, we sure created beautiful memories for my 60th birthday.

We got married October of 2022 at Papa Kona and could not have been more pleased with the location, staff, and food. We worked with a Clementine who was so easy to work with and was on top of everything from the start. I could t recommend this place more!
