Petco, Pearl City HI

Store is always clean and the staff are quick to help whenever you ask a question. They have a good selection for the store size as well.

Always nice to see staff and customers interact; they put everything aside and assist accordingly.

I only interacted with three team members but they were all nice. First was a young lady I interrupted as she was tending to the guinea pigs, but she was nice as i showed her a pic of what I needed-a Y connector for my wife's breast pump tubing-which was by the fish stuff. They were just over $3, so I got 2 just in case. Then I didn't want to bother her again, so I caught a guy emerging from like a back room but at the front and asked if I could open one to test out on the length of tube I'd brought (hardware store best practice). He said ya no problem, and fortunately it fit, so I checked out after waiting not too long and was on my way. I've only been in a few pet stores but this one seemed big, well staffed and maintained; and based on my impression detailed here, legit.

Aloha; there are pet stores and there is Petco. The staff is amazing and they have almost anything you need. They have grooming for your dogs and cats and so much more. Also they do price matching and in hawaii it is awesome to have this. You will get great pricing from mainland and it helps for sure.

They had plenty of staff on hand to help. Prices are slightly higher than elsewhere, but it's worth it because of the excellent service.

Overall, friendly staff and a good Petco location. Wanted to make a point to say that Kaci in grooming did an excellent job with my dachshund and I am so happy with his trim. It’s exactly what I was hoping for.

Love vision this store and seeing others with their pets. We get our peanut butter biscuits for our pups and they love it,!

PETCO takes live Hawaiian reef fish off of our reefs in Hawaii.
It’s basically kidnapping.
Shop at PetSmart. They don’t do that.

I was very satisfied with your personnel and service. Petco has always been our best pet store and we've been coming for our pet supply and grooming service for some time. Your personnel is so courteous and personal with our pet needs.again thank you very much.

On 7/25/22 I went to buy a fish for my daughter. At the time, I was unaware the aquatic department closed earlier than the rest of the store. I asked one of the workers there, a friendly woman with short hair, for assistance and she said she’d call for an associate to assist me in the aquatic department. I walked to the department and waited there patiently, and shortly after a skinny kid with black hair comes around the corner and screams at me that the department is closed. Now, I still had other things to buy at this point, besides the fish. But after he raised his voice at me for no reason, I straight left the store. I have a feeling their employees receive no training whatsoever. And he wreaked of alcohol. Unless that was a smell coming off of one of their products sitting on the shelves besides us. I live in Pearl City, and now I dread going into Petco.

The store itself is fine and has plenty to choose for your pets. Unfortunately the prices are absolutely insane and double from Amazon or Walmart.

Pleasant, clean, friendly, tons of stuff, very Pet friendly, restrooms with key from front cashier. Cool, temp, no smell, grooming, expensive birds, n regular ones. Fish, turtle,

Store has everything you need but pricing can be weird. Our dog food is one price online and then another in store. I wish it was a little more transparent.

If you buy pet food on a regular, you have got to get Vital Care. I've saved so much money with this subscription.

This store has a problem with bugs in their foods/treats. Multiple times now I’ve either bought or looked at an item in store only to have it be crawling with little beetles inside.

Just your typical petco that you find everywhere else really. The employees have all came across super friendly which is nice. Been in here all to often since we got a brand new puppy a few months ago. We buy her poop bags, treats, toys, and dog food here. Also been recently getting her groomed here as well. The groomers do a fabulous job and really take the time they need to make your dogs look and feel good. Thanks Petco!

The people there are really nice but grooming NEVER picks up the phone! I call and call and nothing! It makes me so nervous because I want an update on my pet but they don’t pick up. Even if they’re busy pick up and say “hi I’m with a customer can you please hold” or something!

The casher helped us seniors to the car. She helped us carry out 2 28 pound cat litter. Thank you so much

Best groomer in my opinion is Nancy! She pays attention to the littlest of details, is very professional, personable and our dog King loves her!
Getting “report cards” of his grooming is such a cute idea, always looking forward to it.

I go here all the time for my pets needs. The staff is always welcoming, helpful and reliable. I think that the prices are great, and usually always has sells going on.
