Petco, Honolulu HI

Things moved so finding the dog food was difficult since I could not find anyone to ask, the stock levers were low, I got the last bag.
At the cashier- (1) only and 5 people in-line waiting no one came to help, one worker saw the line but punched out and left with calling for help.

Solid Petco. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. The real magic is in the back of the store. My kids love to check out "the most glorious, chonkiest chinchilla in the whole world. "

This store had happy & Friendly staff.
However, the signs for some of the items were in the wrong place.

The words I would use to describe the grooming experience: unorganized, dismissive, and disappointing. I wish I’d gone somewhere else.

OK selection and over priced. If you have the time I would try buying it on Amazon or somewhere online and you’ll get a better deal but if you need it now or if you wanna touch it before you buy it this is a good place to go.

Its really too bad that Petco has such poor customer service. The managers do not seem to be qualified or provided proper training, so naturally, the staff as just as lacking in customer service.
They also don't apply discounts as advertised or promised.

Isiah was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Other staff members were very friendly as well.

Most of the employees there are helpful and sometimes there is a cheerful greeting when you enter the store. The store is clean but they can do more to keep their animal cages clean, like for the parrots

I was very pleased with my on line order. I was able to leave the place within an hour of my on line purchased. I will definitely come back to shop at petco again soon after I come
back to California.

I didn’t have the time to correct the problem so I loose 10% discount on $40 out of my $80.
I bought frozen fish food. 2 packages did not qualify for discount 4 packages did. I checked the online price from the email I had been sent. But at checkout with frozen fish food thawing found out that I had to purchase online and pick up in store to get the discount. So I could have stood there and held up the line, cancel current purchase, reorder online which would make someone go to the case and get me fresh food that wasn’t thawing from waiting in line and hand to me… OR… I can shop elsewhere…hmm…I’ll shop elsewhere…

Our dog is two years old and she loves when we bathe her but she won't let us clean her ears. Recently we took her to Petco for a bath. They also cleaned her ears and clipped her nails. We will continue giving her a bath at home but once a month we'll take her to Petco for a bath. While we were there we picked up some doggie treats and our dog loves them.

Clerk in fish dept stopped and put down everything he was carrying to ask me if i needed help.then he wasn't dissuaded by my hesitation but prevailed until he found out what was puzzling me.i was impressed.

Nice friendly, now everything you need to now about your other family members. Will to go above and beyond to help. They love animals here.

I’ve been to Petco 5x trying to find a new diet for my cat. The very tall gentleman (I think a manager?) was very informative about the different cat foods as well as their nutritional needs. He made some recommendations and my cat has finally settled on Tiki Cat and Nacho. At the register, there was an older gentleman who was explaining how the price matching, promos and Premier program worked. He was very patient. Mahalo to everyone! Because of this, I signed up for Premier myself (I was trying out my sister-in-laws) and I’ll be purchasing from Petco rather than Amazon.

I would to thank Doug with his superb customer service! He was all alone on the front end working the register and servicing the online customers as well!
