Pho Mai Han, Waipahu HI

I decided to try this place with my family I’m typically a picky eater and I wanted to open my horizons to new things I go in the place of course the first thing I notice is the looks the lady that worked behind the counter was like rushing me to pick out what I wanted to order and she wasn’t giving me time to look through the menu. She kept saying go ahead and order.then she told us that we could go sit at the table and wait for our food another thing I noticed it was another couple that came in after us (this couple fit the appropriate customer base I assume since they were not African American) and she came out from behind the counter greeted them and asked them are you eating here or is it to go that was never an option that was given to us we were never given the option to eat there another thing that happened to us while we were at this establishment was I had ordered lemonade with my meal I bought two meals a shrimp meal with rice and I did the fried chicken with rice and I ordered lemonade so I go back down after realizing I didn’t get my lemonade and I go in and she tells me they don’t have lemonade so why would you charge me for lemonade that she did not have if you did not want to serve me because I was African-American you could just say that want I would of went somewhere. Why this is so shocking to me because they claimed that Hawaii is this big melting pot of cultures but the looks and how we retreated for being African-American I don’t know whether flow is Vietnamese or Chinese I’m not sure but we were not given the same respect that you would give a customer that is purchasing something from your establishment. I will never buy from this establishment again ever because the way I felt I felt like I was a piece of dirt on the ground And instead of being seen as a paying customer I was seen for the color of my skin. Typically something like this wouldn’t of bothered me but I had my two African-American children with me so now I had to explain why this lady was rude to me and why I was treated the way I was treated for invalid reason because simply because of the color of my skin.

The food was okay, but the one star was for the very poor service by our server. From the moment we walked in the restaurant our server had such a bad attitude. When taking our order she kept rushing us and would mutter things under her breath loud enough for us to hear. When cleaning up our plates she started stacking the plates WHILE we were still eating food off the plates. Who the heck does that? The server really needs to work on her customer service skills.

Great pho. Very happy with their restraunt the soup was delicious and the Thai coffee was awesome.

Best phõ vietnamese restaurant in Waipahu you can even get the phõ in Extra Large! It's not oily like other restaurants.

First time here. Dined in; and, enjoyed it. Arrived before 5PM, so had the place to myself for a little while. I liked the very clean and practical family style interior design. I was also impressed that each table had a bottle of hand sanitizer. Awesome
In addition, the waitresses were kind and professional. Surprisingly, One of them sang Vietnamese karaoke while I ate my 1st course (dessert) It was really nice. Love karaoke
Westside mid-afternoon sun? BURNS.so I was intrigued when I searched for Halo-halo nearby and this Vietnamese restaurant appeared. What does a Vietnamese Halo-halo taste like? My answer: Ngon (delicious) Simply, refreshing and delightful If you love chewing ice, then this is a dessert for you [But I wouldn't recommend it for people with bad teeth ]. I enjoyed the not-too-sweet-but-just-right textural crunch of the coarse crushed ice mixed with Ube ice cream and topped with a rainbow of fruits and jellies. (Note: they have a variety of ice cream options to select from). COOL experience ️
After cooling off, it was time to turn the heat up again ️ with an early supper of an XL serving of some hot, tasty Phở  plus a hardy Bánh mì and a tall glass of Traditional Ice Coffee. So satisfyingly delicious ️ As I left, I heard a sweet farewell "Come Back Again" and in my thoughts I replied "Yes, I will. " Much MAHALO ️

We had “take out” from here, yesterday. Pho tastes great, portion is generous, price is right, and the staff is friendly.

We order pho, fried rice, and summer rolls everytime we go.it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in oahu.service is great.highly recommended.

Excellent pho and Vietnam sandwich at very reasonable prices. Friendly service. Too bad there is no such place closer to Waikiki.

Came in on rainy pho kinda day. It was my first time here and had beef round and brisket pho plus spring rolls. The soup was not salty, had good neutral flavor where you can add different sauces to kick it up a notch. Came with usual veggies bean sprouts, basil, lemon wedge. Spring roll was not bad served with lettuce, rice noodle and sauce. Server and service was good. Definitely recommend for affordable quick pho craving fix.

Quick take out service. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. The large size pho was more than I could finish. Enough meat for more than one meal. Service with a smile.

Excellent service. Very fast, if you are on a tight schedule, no problem. Food is great. Check this place out.
