Had an absolutely gorgeous dive at Makena landing with Ethan! He was fantastic, great vibes, very knowledgeable, and managed to find the absolute tiniest nudibranchs I’ve ever seen!

We really wanted to dive Molokini Back Wall and confirmed on the phone that we would be able too. They explained even if there was mixed skill level that they would drop us off first for our drift dive on the backwall.

Once on the boat, they refused and went to the front crater due to the skill level of a couple divers on the boat. We talked to the other divers on the boat and the other experienced divers were under the impression we were diving the back wall.

Captain even confirmed weather was not the reason for going on the front side.

The dives themselves were fine for what they were and the guides were good.

Would not book again due to the bait and switch of location.

I am a newly certified diver, as I just received my Open Water certification a week before doing this 2-tank dive to the Molokini Crater and Nahuna Point. It was amazing! Everyone was a pleasure, and Burch was a great guide. He was always there to ensure I was comfortable and having a good time. I can't thank him, Ben-Ha, and Jonathan enough! Will definitely dive with them again when I'm back in Maui! I only wish I had some pictures!

Pro Dive arrived at the dock and canceled on the spot at dock on sail time claiming “mechanical issues”. A local woman schedule for the charter indicated they have a 50% cancellation rate due to poor business practices. You have been warned! If they don’t sell the boat out they pull the plug on the morning of not the night before.

Our dive master, Morgan took excellent care of us on a check out dive off Makena Landing this afternoon. He clearly explained the dive plan and reminded us of both our safety and critter hand signals. He stayed close and displayed the calm and easy grace of a well seasoned expert. We were rewarded with sightings of almost all the animals he anticipated: sleeping white tip, turtles, lobster, shrimp, frog fish, eel, barracuda, shimmering schooling fish, puffer fish and lovely diverse corals. Morgan, Birch and Captain Joe are awesome! They were so much fun to dive with. They made sure we were safe, comfortable in our gear and had everything we needed to make good memories!
My only recommendation is to maybe work with the office people to make sure everything gets communicated better between the divers and the crew taking the divers out. However, just be sure to reconfirm your plans and you should have just as much fun as we did!

They cancelled on us last min. Refunded on the whale watching tour but they put us on a different boat for snorkelling tour which was NOT communicated properly, no email was sent (heard from Airbnb's msg'ing system), we only heard about it late (the night before) and the way it was worded, we thought we had the option to cancel it and get our money back. When i msg'd them that i would like to cancel it, they kept quiet as a result, we lost over $300. Terrible company in my honest opinion. There are other cheaper better options out there. Dont book these guys.

This firm is under new management. They left me high and dry at the Kihei boat ramp. No call to cancel, just didn't show up. Then got in my face when I called to ask what was going on. No apology from them, just a lot of attitude. I suggest choosing someone else. This is not the same company that most reviews mention.

I went on their dive tour to Molokini crater and to St Anthony’s sunken boat. Both dive masters were friendly and helpful. It was a great time.

Nov 2022 experience
Summary: Day 1 Prodiver did a no-call no show, and day 2 was no-show, we were alerted to the cancellation by a call 15 minutes after our 6: 00am meeting time. Various other communication difficulties along the way.
Notably, Prodiver changed ownership summer or fall of 2022 and talking to others, it seems that organization has been a challenge since then.

We called a few weeks in advance to book two days of diving with Prodiver and all seemed well until day of first dive.
Day 1: Altho we realized the email directions weren't very specific as to where at Makena Landing to meet, we waited in the park near other scuba/snorkel tours.
The email also listed a nearby address, which turned out to be a private home nearby not affiliated with the business at all; the young man was a little alarmed by our presence but remembered that oh yeah, a few divers had come by recently and he didn't know why.
We couldn't reach the dive company for several tries, and eventually reached the office, where the woman who answered said she didn't know where tours met, or how to contact any divemasters, but did give us the owner's phone number. Eventually he answered and said that conditions were poor that day (didn't actually say dive was canceled) and that he couldn't talk now but would call back in 15 minutes.
We chatted with some divers emerging at Makena Landing who said they had a fantastic dive with excellent visibility. Its being a sunny day without much wind, we decided to make it a beach day nearby.
Owner did not ever call back, but we called him again several times and reached him later that afternoon. He was able to convince us that in the unlikely event that the following day's trip had to be canceled, we would receive appropriate advance notice.

Day 2: No-show. Lots of other dive companies in the parking lot at Kihei boat ramp, some said Prodiver had been showing up late recently so not to worry, they're probably on the way. 15 minutes after meeting time, we got a voicemail (missed call due to poor cell signal) saying that conditions were poor again. 50 minutes after meeting time, employees came by in person to let people know the dive was indeed cancelled.
We were luckily able to have a wonderful dive by jumping on with another company last minute. They did mention they would be looking out for potentially choppy water and modifying the dive sites as needed for conditions/weather, but everything ended up going very smoothly without modifications.

We called the office and were able to get a full refund for both dives.

Finally, a week after returning home, we got a voicemail and a text message saying that our payment for the trips had not gone through, could we please call to complete payment? We were able to explain why we did not need to pay.

Did not go where we booked to go. Told because some people on boat could not dive there. Then told that they went to the same dive site 5 days in a row. Apparently bought out by new owner. I would skip these guys.

Great wall and wreck dive with our divemaster Morgan! My wife had a little issue on initial descent and he helped her through it to have a great experience. Great gear and crew! Highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable time with pro divers! They were so helpful and friendly and really good at spotting things! We saw sharks, lobsters, puffer fish, and octopus! We would definitely use this dive outfit again! They were friendly funny and affordable!
