Radford Terrace Community Center reviews
6Good place for party, family gathering. Very nice & clean. Have A/C as well.
Great place to eat your Wendy’s when their 3 tables are filled with homeless.
I had 4 people smoking weed outside of my house at 3am, there was a security vehicle parked near the pool where they typically sit not doing a darn thing about it. I would say it is not safe, nor is it very clean. When you call the housing there is no option for the security firm for an option. I’ll just call the police next time.
The facilities are locked. The area is infested with flies. You will need a beekeepers suit to enjoy yourself.
It's a nice place overall, my friend and I used to go in the small wooded area, find a stick, and then proceed to beat eachother. Good memories.
Radford Dog Park is a newer community park, and dog owners have been thrilled to have another option. While it boasts a large dog section and a small dog section, the smaller side is smaller indeed. The fountains do work and there are agility course pieces for dogs who know how use them. Ours clearly don't.
The downside is that it is located only a few feet from the kids playground. While you may think that kids and pups go together like spam and eggs, often young kids are letting themselves into the dog parks unsupervised and treating the dog park like a "petting zoo". Not all dogs are kid friendly, and not all kids know the proper way to treat dogs they don't know.
Barring that, it is a sweet park and we enjoy the pups and pup parents we meet.
