Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki, Honolulu HI

I visited Hawaii islands in 2022 December. This island is called Honolulu or Oahu. I stayed in a area named Waikiki. It’s a decent commercial area. Ramada plaza given us a pleasant stay truly. They demanded 250$ as caution deposit and refunded it at the time of check out. There is Bombay palace, a Indian restaurant very nearby. U can get North Indian dishes instead of Buns and Burgers

This hotel was wonderful. We walk in and smell the fresh pine scent of a live, decorated tree in the lobby. The staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms, clean and large. It is right in the middle of Wakiki with a variety of restaurants, stores, etc within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Visited someone staying here, the air-conditioners were very old and temperamental the rooms desperately need an update as did other areas

Rooms are abit outdated and the window in our room was missing the seal so it's basically open but cleaning and front desk staff are amazing.

Stayed here for 12 days for a work trip. The room was very clean and was in a great location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quite and clean room. We were promised free parking when we reserved the room as we are reward members. They charged us parking. They wouldn't refund us the charged.

EXCELLENT staff. Very courteous, professional and kind. Comfy rooms that are clean. Lobby is welcoming.

Great staff, good location - near the beach and other city attractions but not as busy/noisy as the "big" hotels along the beach. I was in town for work spending most of each day on a jobsite so I just needed a place to sleep, do some quiet work each evening and come/go easily. I found the Ramada quite suitable - clean, well maintained, safe.

Perfect location for us, right next to the Hilton Rainbow where our conference was held. Half the cost of the Hilton. Recommend paying the extra for the balcony rooms. Decent view and fresh air!

I pre-paid for a room for 3 nights. However, had a very strange experience. Walked into the lobby to check in, and the gentleman behind the counter told me to get out as I stepped through the front doors. That's a first. It was strange. All the way to the counter he kept saying "No, no, no. Go. " And wouldn't let me get a word in. Finally, I told him I had a reservation. His reply was, we must have given it to someone else, we are fully booked. But I pre-paid for it, I said. Oh, he said. And we found that my room was there and paid for. He was pretty sputtering at that point. Later, that evening, someone who worked there and pushing a laundry cart, got onto the elevator with me. "How are you? " He asked. "Fine. " I replied. "How is your day going? " He just stared at me, then rolled his eyes and looked away. I don't recommend this Ramada. What a strange experience. I used to live at the Chateau Waikiki. A tower right next door to the hotel. That's my old neighborhood. I'm not angry at all. I write because it was regrettable behavior on the staff's part. Buyer beware. Waikiki Ramada = unbalanced in its service help.

Good location as we were within walking distance of everything we needed.
Price compared to other hotels was ok.
They hit us with a $25/day parking fee for our rental; first time I have ever been charged parking at hotel we were staying at. So much for the better price.
Room service didn't show up until late in the day, but were quick to meet our request. Staff was good to work with. I would stay here again.

We usually only stay at each hotel for 2 nights. We decided to stay here for 6. We love the location and the people here are great!

Enjoyed our stay, however the decor is very dated and our room had a damp smell. Daily Room service brilliant, fridge was fantastic. Balcony views of the city were great. Air com great but rather noisy. Reception desk very friendly and helpful.

Room is outdated. Room smell like mildew. Bed sheet and pillow has smell. Staff is great. Parking is extra charge

Nice clean room. I was right next to the pool so it was loud late into the night. (Just something to consider asking about if that will bother you). The little store they had was closed the entire time I was there but there is plenty of shopping in walking distance. ABC store across the street has everything, gifts, medicine, good, and whatever else you might need. The parking was strange. I didn't have a vehicle to park the whole time but my friend visited and wanted to park for a couple hours while we walked around. There was no parking attendant on duty for us to get a parking pass. Overall it is a nice hotel and great option for Honolulu/Waikiki
