Romano's Macaroni Grill, Honolulu HI

Waitress and staff were great and very friendly. Overall food is ok but I dont like to see previous costumers food still smeared all over the table cloth. I understand that the paper layed down over the cloth is supposed to make it look clean but the exposed part hanging over the edge had dried food maybe from the previous day. Awkward cause lunch just started and I know were the first to sit at this table today

Only order the Farmhouse pizza with buffalo mozzarella and bacon. With extra mozzarella. Crispy crust. So good!

Good food and absolutely amazing service! The best service I have ever had a restaurant since moving to O'ahu about a year and a half ago! It was my birthday, they gave me a complimentary glass of wine (not the house stuff either!) and an amazingly delicious chocolate cake, also complimentary!

Waiter was great, location is convenient, there is parking but it's at a mall so you may need to drive around for a space. Reservations aren't required but I'm glad I had one since I didn't need to wait for a table. The bread is very good, pasta is good but I ordered a steak and that was not a good choice.

Pretty disappointed with our dinner tonight. The quality of this restaurant has gone downhill. My kid’s chicken strips were from a freezer bag and my Penne Rustica tasted like an over salted microwave meal. We paid over $95 to feed my family of 4 and I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Me and husband came in all the time before pandemic. We like chicken parmesan. After pandemic we order takeout a lot. The hosts are very nice pretty girls. The arrabiatta sauce is great we always get it on our pasta. Sizes are big and we like coming here a lot. Good manager eva always says hi to me. We keep coming back for this place.

Server: Dani A Gem to this establishment. She was patient with a large party. She constantly came to check in on our table, she definately gave us Great service!
The food was Amazing! This was my 1st visit to Macaroni Grill.
I ordered the Bibb-Bleu, it was a good size portion and Ono!
Our apps and dishes came out in a timely manner, everything was to temp.

The restroom could use some deep clean love, toiletries were out in a couple stalls, but thankful they have a restroom in Restaraunt.

Great drinks and really nice environment. Lovely greeters made us feel very welcome! Would recommend and would definitely come back!

Don't bother going if you have a baby. Went in tonight and the stroller was refused entry by the host after waiting 20 mins, baby is 11 months old and cant sit in a high chair. Once I challenged his refusal by showing him another 2 strollers already in the restaurant we were told to wait another 20 minutes (clearly a penalty and a hope we would leave). The host had an ego and was not expecting a customer to question him and point out other strollers.

Sitting there observing the staff at the desk for 20 minutes I was surprised of the amount of people they were turning away, those staff would be more suited at a nightclub on the door with the attitude on display.

We did leave so they got their way.

Food took long was luke warm and flavorless I'm in the industry so I really never complaine but I was so disappointed I had to. The manager took care of us service is cool ambiance is cool my first and last time here.

The first time I went there I had Chris as a waiter. Great guy and great service, I've been there twice and always left a big tip. The food was a 4 star but the service was a 5 star. You could tell by how he described the wine they had and daily special that he was trying to give us the best service he could offer. Great place and great staff.

At the Honolulu location we had a fantastic experience. We live in the Memphis area, where all the Romano’s Macaroni locations have closed, so we were excited about going to this location. It didn’t disappoint. The food was consistent with what we used to have in Memphis. And our server, Jill, was both attentive and fun to talk with during our time there. Great lively conversation.
I had the Chicken Scallopine, and my wife had the Chicken Marsala. This was our honeymoon trip to Hawaii, and Jill surprised us with a slice of chocolate cake, which was superb, and we so appreciate.
Next trip here, we’re coming back. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Not even sure where to start with this one. But we were waiting for over 40 minutes for a table and the restaurant wasn’t even close to being full. Multiple workers (hosta, waiter AND MANAGERS) walked past us without even batting an eye in our direction. When we finally did get sat, our waitress was a disaster. Straight up telling us and other guests that she wasn’t having a bad day (unprofessional much?). She called me sweetie, girl, and darling… not that that’s a bad thing, but it’s just way too casual and honestly makes me feel uncomfortable when a person calls me those things. I served for YEARS and the service was slow and uncomfortable, I ordered a water & didn’t receive it until the end of my meal. Which brings me to the food which was sub par at best. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

Can anyone explain why they were playing Christmas music in mid-February? Maybe because it was so chilly inside!

I had a birthday dinner with my family here. They give free desserts if it is your birthday. The food was delcious. My favorite was probably the mushroom ravioli. Everyone had a great time. Our waitress was very kind, polite, patience, and quick to attend to our needs. I wish i had got her name. I think her name was Roni? Shes a bit older age. She is a sweet lady! This place offers military discounts. I would definitely come back here.

Very poor customer service started as soon as we walked through the door and continued throughout the night. Chicken tasted like it just came out of the microwave. Not what I expected for a “$30 Create your pasta. ” If I was the franchisee, I would make major changes.

The create your own pasta really let us get exactly what we wanted. My salmon was cooked well - very mild char on the outside but not dry at all on the inside.
Filled up on the spinach dip and bread so had to take the large portion of pasta home.

Also very pelased to see their COVID safety measures. I felt very safe

Food was amazing! Chicken Scaloppini is a must! Lemon butter sauce, capers, crispy prosciutto. YUM! Calamari is so tender and crispy. Service was on point from the greet at the door (small wait due to the covid restrictions but not a problem) ask for Chase! He made us feel at home and was very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try something new! And they are open for Christmas this year! (Sad honestly but if they have to work might as well make money)

We waited for 2 hours and had to cancel our order. Extremely slow service…while this was Christmas Day… but if reservations are made then customers should not be kept waiting this long…we were really disappointed with the service

Absolutely love going to Macaroni Grill! The service is always amazing, the food is fantastic, definitely a go to place! Highly recommend the crispy Brussels sprouts or stuffed mushrooms as a starter, chicken Scaloppine pasta, and the Bibb and bleu salad. You won’t regret it!
