Stayed here from the 3rd September until the 15th September, great location, rooms a little outdated but ok, beds very comfortable, housekeeping staff outstanding, poolside towell staff good, staff at splash bar serving breakfast and drinks absolutely terrible, they look like they don't want to be there, all look miserable and it seems like a inconvenience to serve you, we stopped having breakfast due to the terrible service, went to a lot of hotels in the area and their service is so superior. Reception staff were good as well. Really need a better dining option, one menu for the whole hotel is not great. Overall a pleasant stay, however with staff that wanted to be there it could of been a whole lot better. Maybe the bar staff and breakfast staff have a cultural problem, I think they need a good leader

Just got back from our 7D 8N trip from Hawaii and stayed at this hotel for the entire trip. We loved the location, it's just beside the International Market Place and close to Royal Hawaiian Center. We booked a partial ocean view which is located on the 20th floor. Room is outdated, small tub, no exhaust fan in the washroom. Cant complain about the room since we spent most of our time outside anyways. There's a resort fee that includes free towels that you can bring to the beach, mobile wifi, Go Pro rental and a whole lot more. There's ABC store right across the entrance. There's also a cheap breakfast spot near the pool! My kids loved it. The splash bar is amazing! We had dinner there for my 3 year old birthday. The fish tacos and fish and chips are so good but expensive. As per my husband, the cocktail is amazing. The only downside is the $45USD parking which is acceptable since it's in the center of Waikiki and the pool that closes at 7pm. Overall, we enjoyed the entire stay.

The property pool space opens up straight onto the main drag and is very close to Waikiki Beach, but I would opt to be farther away if it meant better rooms and service

Prior to arrival, we were provided the option via text message to check in online, which we did. Upon arrival we were not greeted with an Aloha, instead the front desk argued with us about whether the online check in actually functioned as check in. There was little understanding, empathy or kindness in the conversation. We checked in nonetheless, and onto our room we went.

We paid for a partial ocean view.big on the partial. We had a great view of the beautiful Moana Surfrider though! There was moisture damage on the ceiling tiles in the hallway, and the room was not just dated, but some poor attempts at renovation had been made. We kind of had that icky feeling where you’re not quite sure how clean the room actually is.

Luckily we were only here two nights. We did our best to spend as little time as possible in the room.

My advice - spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere if you want any more of an elevated experience.

Even if you get a room on a high floor, the windows are old and there is wind noise. The noise from the air conditioner and cooling tower is very loud, the rooms are smaller than Hyatt, and the breakfast provided by Bonvoy's top tier is poor.

The service was excellent. The towels were scratchy, the rooms and especially, the bathroom was outdated. Something weird at the pool. I would be given an old looking towel and other ppl would be given the towels on top that looked nice and new. Racial profiling? I did see one little roach on my last day in the bathroom, eek!

We stayed in the newer tower and the room was clean and spacious.

Cons: Breakfast for marriott elite members is pathetic. Stale croissants and fruits. Service at the splash restaurant for very rushed and we had a hard time speaking with our server as he was always rushing.

Spacious and very comfortable room even at cheapest in the hotel. 150m to Wakiki Beach and on the main strip with all the resturaunts. Brilliant and affordable.

Make sure to use HotelDuIIy. ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome:)! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed.

Excellent food, clean and comfy rooms with refrigerator and a patio. A bit of age on patio but good views. Comfy beds. Beautiful pool and music with hula and little classes of Hawaiian culture. Great price and much Aloha in the people that served us

I just checked in. I had a Walmart delivery of items I need for my medical device. The refused to accept it. This has not been an issue in the past. When I asked they said, we changed our policy last week.

For people like me who need things for my medical device, deliveries were a way to quickly solve it.

I’m going to have to rethink my choice in the future.

Parking your rental car for 24 hours is $45. Lobby no AC. Your driveway to your house is wider than this place.
Average cost per night is about $250
This place is old. Elevators looks like its from the 60's

Excellent hotel with an excellent location just off the beach. Close to shopping and eateries at a very good price, at least for the time we visited. The beach is just across the street. The mall is about 150 yards down the sidewalk. The guest services were great. This is where we will stay on our next visit. The only thing that I would do differently, should you stay here, is that I would find the chain eateries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because I thought that $77 was a bit much for sausage, bacon, and egg with rice for two people. Then the people are so helpful that your forget sometimes the amount of cash you are spending. Overall, this was a safe spot to be. Even though we did not pre-arrange transportation, which is what I would normally do on a cruise, the hotel makes sure that you have safe transportation to from wherever you want to go. The cab service was descent, the driver was friendly pointing out some of the historical landmarks on the way to the port terminal. So, look for prices to be higher throughout Hawai'i, because that's just the way it is in the tourist areas. (Hint: the locals know how to navigate that.) Tourism is their main economic engine and it runs pretty smoothly.

I liked but there are better. The pool closes at 7 pm I don't see this as a resort. Look around

Actually, I don't want to give even one star.
Not worth a single hotel.
It's a shame that most of the staff here don't even know the ins and outs of hospitality (especially the Japanese staff).
The Japanese staff are so unpleasant to see their faces every time I pass through the front desk.
How about a little more education?
The value of hotels is going down because of them.
The room was small, dirty, and smelly, and there was no hot water in the bath, which was clogged with hair and didn't drain.
Everything is old-fashioned and I will never stay there again! ! !

Have stayed here twice now and wouldn’t think of staying elsewhere. Great facilities at the hotel and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Love the location in the heart of Waikiki and there are so many options handy.

My experience overall was great! We had a wonderful housekeeper Maricel who was very nice and welcoming, and she kept the room spotless and clean. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hawaii!

Stayed in two different rooms here during my stay. Seems like your average hotel in the area. It's a great location, close to lots of restaurants, shopping, bus stops. One of the towers looks a lot more modern/newer (?) than the other. They have some activities such as yoga, lei making. Make sure to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper since a neighboring building has loud music at night. The room comes with small quirks, such as shower handle being installed backwards, holes in sheets, and old mismatched furniture. It's not very soundproof so you can hear the loud music outside, people leaving and entering their rooms, even if your doors are closed. The staff are very sweet and caring.
