Hotel Sheraton Waikiki reviews
13 Great room with Diamond Head view. Infinity pool was excellent. The hotel and the pool got very crowded on some days. Lots of shopping options for day-to-day needs. Breakfast market was tasty. Easy beach access and walking to restaurants/shops. Only a couple of complaints:
1) They don't do a good job of limiting the pool to hotel guests. This led to some awkward situations and a bit of overcrowding.
2) The Edge of Waikiki needs to expand it's tap list and drink menu.
Our suite had a gorgeous panoramic view. The beds were spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurants was delicious and well-portioned. And our housekeeper, Mei Chu, went above and beyond every day to treat us like ohana.
Beautiful view from the oceanfront room. The room is a little tight but beautiful. The restaurants are not fully open yet.had a very hard time getting a meal and cocktails. Nice staff
Had an amazing time for our anniversary here. Staff from door to door were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with many great suggestions for adventures around the island. The hotel is in a prime location with close access to everything.
Diamond head oceanfront view room was exceptional.
Decided to explore the island and it’s cuisine so never had a chance to eat at the hotels restaurants. Hubby enjoyed complimentary cocktail at the bar and said it was great.
Parking garage spots are REALLY tight! Otherwise not too hard to find parking in the parking deck for your rental.
Infinity pool was PACKED everyday and sort of had to wait to get a spot at the edge. Many turtles came right up to the shore at the pool’s edge! Saw quite a few couples stumbling out of the pool…poolside drinks are endless.
Access to the beach is also a quick walk around the pool area to a mini private beach away from the other crowded Waikiki beach area.
Amazing views, but staff, with the exception of the cleaning staff, are unprofessional, rude and dismissive. For a Sheraton, it looks unkept and run down. Also, if you book via Costco, they are even more apathetic. I don't recommend this Sheraton.
Oceanside rooms have terrific views. The rooms have interesting lighting switches, bathrooms are not top notch. Overall really good location.
I had the best view of the ocean, great location. The two best pool helpers Kalani and David are excellent. Great personalities and gave me all the beach necessities to help my stay so pleasant. Leticia and Mike the bartender also laid out some wonderful cocktails by the pool. I come here frequently and we stay at this hotel every time. Mahalo
Exceeded expectations. We had a great room and the views were spectacular. Wish we stayed longer. Only knock is that room service doesn’t exist at hotel.
Two swimming pools - one for with kids which has water slide and one infinity pool for adults.
Gorgeous room with Diamond head and beaches.
Convenient location for all the shopping with luxury brands
I would give 3 stars because three important amenities to me were closed. I'm so sick of hotels closing thier amenities and blaming it on the pandemic and government yet they still charge full price. It's not in my spirit to give you a low rating but please open up the lounge and spa. Everyone is getting tested or vaccinated. Let's keep business rolling smoothly.
Great location. Ocean view from a high floor is like being in heaven. For me as Titanium member, they give you a nice welcome present but service was sub standard. Friendly personnel but not l no luxury. They had the club closed so they compensated with a fixed menu for breakfast. They didn't upgrade my room to suite as I'm entitled by my membership, even with the hotel clearly below 60% occupation. They'd charge me for that no issues. No concierge in the premises, they don't even know what is that, they tried to send me to the travel agency. Room cleaning you have to request every day even if they say it's scheduled they'll say they found a privacy sign on the door. You'll need to ask for it each day. You pay for a club $50 per day, that doesn't include any elements at the beach, strangely. Room is tiny and room in itself is similar to any average hotel. You get a mini fridge and a coffee machine with 3 bags for single serve coffee. Water you'll need to use the refillable containers and charge them on the odd flutes l floors.
A remodeled hotel make us feel good staying here. Check in is very slow but it's understandable due to travel safe requirements by Hawaii State. Swinging pools are great and would better stay higher floors to see the ocean and the city night lights.
Fabulous property located right on Waikiki Beach with amazing views and amenities. The lobby and shops area are all open air and so enjoyable to stroll through. At the front desk, Correne was so friendly and even upgraded our city view rooms to partial ocean view which was amazing and so appreciated! The rooms have one king bed or two doubles, they are not big but seem recently remodeled and have everything you need - plus they have a big balcony to enjoy the view from! Rent a cabana or grab some lounge chairs to spend the day sunning and listening to the waves crash while sipping on a cocktail. The ocean is right there when you want to splash in the waves, paddleboard or surf. As the sun sets, you will get to witness a stunning sunset and never want to leave.
