Small Town Coffee Co reviews
16 Let’s start with the good things. The truck is a nice color. I saw a massive Rottweiler. The service was friendly. Past that, I have nothing good to say.
The coffee and food was overpriced—but there’s no way to know until you buy, since they don’t list prices.
They were out of drip coffee at 8AM. So, I got a dirty chai. Maybe I just don’t like dirty chai like I thought I do, but it was super bland.
The frittata was fine, although the bagel was basically a cracker. They also didn’t have plain bagels at 8AM.
The service was some of the slowest I’ve ever experienced. Not knocking the ladies—they were super nice. But the service itself was bad. It probably felt worse than it was because I was in a hurry, but it truly wasn’t good.
Overall if the service was faster and the prices at least listed, I would have been much happier. As it stands, super unsatisfied—I’d suggest almost anywhere else.
The workers are always so kind and the coffee and pastries are really good.but I really appreciate how sweet the workers always are.it really means a lot
The best coffee place on the island! Inviting and friendly staff along with an aesthetic and relaxing atmosphere, and most of all great coffee! Every time a friend visits the island it’s the first place I recommend stopping.
My go to coffee spot when visiting the island! I had a chance to experience the truck after the revamp from the new owners. It’s so incredibly cute, I love the yellow! I got a muffin with my coffee last time I was there and it was perfect. I so appreciate that they maintained the same pricing and quality with the transition. I know that’s hard to do on the islands. 10/10 recommend Mokihana if you’re looking for quality food and wonderful service!
The girls working are the sweetest. They have great recommendations and have the best lavender latte!
This is my go-to coffee spot on the island. Their cold brew is awesome and quality is consistent, matcha latte is also very good! Very friendly workers and the couple that owns the truck is super friendly. Highly recommend!
Took 40 minutes to make 2 bagels and a coffee. It cost $36. There was no crowd.
Had such a bad experience that I had to figure out what was up. Apparently there used to be a great food truck here that got bought out and destroyed. Too bad. It appears Small Town Coffee ruined a business that had been successful for 17 years. I feel bad for the original owners of Mokihana. They don’t deserve this.
Don’t miss an opportunity to stop here! The coffee is fantastic, food is delicious and the employees are wonderful. Everything is super fresh, go try it!
I used to come here pretty regularly and then it was bought out. I stopped by the other day to check out the new look. I was immediately turned off by the fact that they don't list any prices for anything. For me, when I see that an establishment doesn't list their prices, I usually don't even order and I walk away. But because it was small town, I decided to give it a try. I spent $20 for a very small breakfast sandwich, and a coffee. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
I had a very different experience than most of the other reviewers. I paid over $9 for a 12 oz Mac nut latte, which is crazy, but it wasn’t even good, and I didn’t want to finish it. Maybe it was an off day, because the other reviews are glowing. But the service was very slow. The staff was friendly though, and upgraded my latte size to a 16 oz to apologize for the slow service, even though I didn’t say anything or complain.
We have been coming here for two years now and it is consistently our favorite coffee spot on the island! Lattes are tasty, service is great and you can't beat the views! Highly recommend
Amazing bagels and really good matcha. Super cute truck and they had a lot of unique flavor add-ins.
The two gents behind the counter were busily competing over who could make better latte art. The result for the customers was a steady stream of excellent coffee.
What a dream of a macnut iced latte! Definitely make sure to stop at this perfect coffee truck!
Coffee was ok, but we loved the service and the vibe. The vegetarian bagel was dope and really liked it.
Definitely recommend
Great coffee and breakfast truck! Had a delicious latte and a very tasty breakfast bagel sandwich with cream cheese, lox, onion, tomato and capers. Definitely recommend stopping by if you need a relatively quick little breakfast or morning coffee!
