Bob's Snorkle-I've rented both on Maui and the Big Island. Their staff are incredibly knowledgeable about local snorkeling spots, what kind of gear best fits your level and experience of snorkeling, and they are friendly and responsive. It's great to work with staff that really welcome people in and are excited to get them snorkeling! I also thought their prices were terrific!
Mike at Snorkel Bob's Mauna Lani was awesome! He fit 5 adults with snorkel gear (3 had never been snorkeling nor been in the ocean before). He shared snorkel location information, safety tips and even helped us to book an amazing morning boat trip with Adventure X to see spinner dolphins and snorkel. Charged us 3 days and we returned after 2 days; refused to give us credit back for 1 day. Bob, (actually Ed) got an extra $50 so, beware of website pricing and the up sale! The jerk there said if you were my customer I could have done something; you did rip us off!
Quality gear, great location recomendations, cheaper than buying junk gear from Cost Co/Walmart. Highly recommend them.
