4I was still in East Coast time on my first morning in Hilo and was pleased to find daily Mass at 6am. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of people who attend. Following Mass, the community prays Morning Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours and this is also well attended. The singing is uplifting and the homilies inspiring. St Joseph's is a gem.
Beautiful community and lovely daily mass. I love how they have dialy prayers throughout the day. They 2 daily masses but wish one was in the evening as I work during the day and during both mass times. I go on lunch break but always have to rush and would prefer to stay longer. I can't wait to come back to visit this church when I am back in town.
The parishioners are friendly and our priests are incredible human beings with great love for Christ. Wonderful place to practice our beautiful Catholic faith.
