In the old Aloha Mixed Plate location. Great service and view. Interesting fusion of vietnamese dishes and ramen. The Vietnamese crepe and steam pork buns are very enjoyable. The Singapore noodles have a nice mild yellow curry. The garlic noodles I wish could a hoisin, dark soy, sesame oil type sauce, as they could have more depth of unami flavors. Overall great place and atmosphere with A+ service.

This place is definitely worth reserving early and visiting if you are in Maui. My favorite dishes are Ahi Avo (tuna poke with avocado) and Lahaina Fried Soup (basically thick chow funn).
Even though this is a noodle shop, Ahi Avo is the best raw tuna dish I've had in Maui. Because their ahi is fresh, the texture of ahi is so different than the basic one. It's bouncy and soft, almost like beef tendon. It doesn't stink, but you can taste the ocean.
Chow funn is super flavorful too. I think the pork belly has been smoked (?) then braised, then roasted. It has a deep flavor, and it is super tender, but it is not mushy and still holds its cube-like shape. However, it might seem a bit oily for some people, but the flavor is definitely worth it.

This place was on the radar after browsing online. I have to say everything was mediocre at best. Appetizer of pork belly bao buns was disappointing given that the meat was tough and not the usual braised, melt in your mouth consistency. We got the star ramen and udon noodles, which neither had anything spectacular jump out at us. Overall, average noodle shop comparable to what you could get back home. You are paying the premium of being seaside.

This place has the rudest front of house stuff I’ve ever come across, they are so disrespectful and take in a rude tone, it’s unbelievable. We had a reservation and were waiting in line and the way they were speaking to the people in front of us was unacceptable. They would not allow the couple to get on the waitlist, we’re extremely Curt in tone even though the couple was super polite. When it was our turn, we mentioned it to the person, asking if there was an issue, and were curtly told to wait by the side and would be called when our table was ready
15 mins later, upon inquiring, we were informed rudely by the lady up front that she already told us to wait, she would call us when she was ready
We were also told the table they had for us was half shade half sun, and they would not, under any circumstance, be able to move us even if another table became available
We were so put off by then, but ordered our food, which was not bad, but nothing that was memorable or worth coming back for, especially after the shocking rudeness of the staff
V disappointed, and if you are short staffed or frustrated, best to stay at home instead of taking it out on paying customers
Echo the other reviews, every interaction with the front of house was terrible, and this place seems to only cater to unsuspecting tourists and run their business based on that demand
Plenty of other beach side restaurants along this line, I’d recommend Tommy bahama, where we went the next night, super nice staff, v polite and good food, or even Mala tavern, a little attitude but also by the beach and nice view

Amazing! Some of the best noodles (if not THE best) you’ll ever have. Great ocean views and good drink menu. Ordered kimchi, ahi tuna and pork bums for appetizer. Then garlic noodles and star udon for main course. Nothing short of amazing. I will definitely be back!

Tried to make reservations before trip to Maui and was told not possible for 4.2 months ahead of trip, but walk ins available with sometimes up to an hour wait. Went and tried to get a table.was laughed at and told to come back in October. Rude reception by the two girls at the desk who seemed to think they were above treating people with respect. I get it.once you're on TV you forget how you got there. Shame on you!

Star Noodle was amazing! The food was good (highly recommend the buns, udon, and the rib eye) and the views are really great! We went during sun set and it was spectacular! Below is a picture of that view!

Very comfortable and scenic lunch. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and drinks were cold.
