Starbucks, Honolulu HI

Situated in a hotel, this location lacked the friendly appeal with some staff members that other neighborhood locations have.

Iced matcha tea latte with whipped cream and a cherry on top is the best! Super friendly, warm, and welcoming staff, and a very relaxing chill atmosphere. Thank you so much!

This location is crazy busy, obviously since it’s in a busy part of Waikiki and below a huge Marriott but the baristas here are so nice and really embody the spirit of aloha. I’ve been a barista at another Starbucks in waikiki years ago and I know it’s not easy to be friendly, efficient, and patient with the amount of traffic and tourists these guys get every day but they are alway providing top notch service and it’s my go to Starbucks whenever I’m here for work trip.

Recommended when you want to take a break at Starbucks at the very end of the Royal Hawaiian Center. If you take the Pink Line bus, get off at HOKULEA HAWAII and there is a Starbucks Coffee across the street, so you can cool off with a frappuccino during the hot weather. It's nice to wait for the next bus while having a cup of tea. The store partner (PTR) clerk is also kind and polite. It may be lined up due to location, but it is relatively empty in the afternoon. The inside of the shop is cramped, but I want you to have a cup of tea while feeling the refreshing breeze blowing under the parasol outside the shop.

Extremely convenient! We were staying at the Marriott and Starbucks is on the first floor!

Loved stopping here in the morning for coffee and breakfast! They remembered me and made ordering easy!

This Marriott has 2 Starbucks. This is the outside one. They took out the larger of the 2 counters leaving limited seating indoors. There are tables outside with a view of the beach and sunset. I mobile ordered a dark roast, which is supposed to be a pourover, but the barista used whatever was on hand. Fortunately another barista offered to remake my coffee correctly.

There is NO restroom. All the hotel's toilets are now locked. They can be opened only by a room cardkey.

All Waikiki branches are priced higher and only carry Hawaiian-themed merchandise, so I missed getting a refill tumbler.

They operated till late - 11 pm - pre-pandemic but now close at 9 pm.

I like my donuts warmed up but for some weak reason they started refusing to heat them, even though they know I've been eating them warmed up for years at this store.

Friendly staff at a small location. It is very close to Waikiki beach and all the hotels on the strip. We placed mobile orders almost daily during our 10-day-stay, mostly in the morning, and the coffee was always ready for us as we walked in. All drinks were made accurately and they were tasty. I also enjoyed their selection of Hawaii cups, tumblers and accessories. No complaints!

I had a pleasant time using Starbucks thanks to the friendly female staff.
When I told him I had come to buy a tumbler before going to Korea, he made a very sensible joke and had fun.

They have such an amazing selection of merchandise selected for the area, such as cups in Hawaiian themes.

The staff are good. The coffee a little bitter for my liking, almost burnt but still appreciated.

Everywhere is clean and tidy.

Tucked in a hotel storefront. Good place to grab your souvenirs to take home. When you see it, buy it. They go fast! I waited a couple days thinking there were quite a few and nobody would care about them but I was wrong. Ended up buying at the airport which was $5 more. Don’t make that mistake!

Most Starbucks staffs are really awesome except the worker at this location who responsible to make drinks this morning around 1015am. She takes forever and even had bad attitute on her face. Hope their management will consider and improve their customer services: (

Friendly and great coffee. I left my hat behind and they kindly kept it behind the counter until the next morning.
