Stopwatch Sportsbar & Grill, Makawao HI

There is no Aloha at the stopwatch! The bartenders are rude! I made a pickup dinner order for the family, the food is great! Got it hone, Loco Moco was raw and cold, take it back to the restaurant bartender tells me it's cold cause you left it sitting here for a very long time. She cut into it and threw it away acting extremely aggravated. Started giving orders to the Cooks and blew right by me on her way to deliver another order. I had to stop and ask how long 30 min? Yeah! I left, come back when I walk up to the register She rolled her eyes and ignored me and then went and got the food. I said thank you and I got another Yeah. So whatever! Probably be a long time before I order from there again.

Sad to say that yesterday was the first time we’ve had to leave this place because of lack of service. We’ve eaten here dozens of times and usually have received good service even if the waitress was busy, we understand most places are understaffed, but yesterday the waitress didn’t really care if we received service. Oh well, maybe we’ll check back next year.

Pretty basic, though slightly more expensive than you would hope. Food was decent, special margarita was good (but weak), and service was sufficient though lackluster. $60 for two drinks, a BLT, and a loco moco.

Open air sports bar. Super nice waitress. Food tasted fresh and hit the spot for sure! Clean restrooms. We parked behind the building. Didn't see parking on main road.

Love this bar! So mellow and such good vibes. Food is always great! Sushi on Thursday! Karaoke every Thursday and Saturday! A must go

Charged me $9.14 for one shot of Screwball (which was actually half a shot) tonight so I left. I have been a regular there since 2000. Never going back on a Friday when this female bartender works.

Good food, sportsbar vibe in Makawao. Great burgers, fries, rings, salads, draft beers. The bar tender had everything under control.

Fabulous local spot with numerous local Maui brews on tap. Great daily specials-never miss the Stopwatch Philly sandwich. Excellent onion rings. Both Superb. Very welcoming, attentive, and competent staff. Tip them rightly! Keep off the main tourist drags, head up-country, and Go Already!

Came in for a late lunch and asked for the soup of the day, the mahi-mahi sandwich, and a glass of wine. Service was below average, my wine finally came after I asked two more times. The soup was delicious but, the mahi-mahi was unimpressive. Something tells me they make a mean drink here.

I will give them a second chance in a week or two.

I had the steak & onions pupusa, it was so good. Daughter enjoyed her loco moco. Nice seating area outside, easy parking.

My Dad and his best friend have gone here for years. They're both angels now so we cheers them whenever we go! Recently went with my Mom and pup to watch some football playoffs during happy hour. Good service, kind crowd, good pub food. Mahalo!
