Straub Medical Center - Pearlridge Clinic, Aiea HI

I have had multiple dermatology visits at Straub Medical Center Pearl Ridge and each visit went smooth from the check in to the Doctors visit. Facility was spotlessly clean. The waiting areas were air conditioned to a comfortable level with plenty of space. There is ample parking behind the facility. Across the street is Pearl Ridge shopping center which is also convenient.

Contact Center receptionist “Carrisa J” was rude an unprofessional and essentially told me it’s not her problem and has nothing to do with her when I asked why I’ve called three times already every time promised a call back and no one ever got back to me I had an appointment for this Thursday and they changed it to November without warning or notification a three month wait to be seen for a kidney stone is unacceptable

Calling them at 4: 20pm because they called me twice telling me the 2 different time for my appointment. But it says closed. @4: 20pm on Monday? WTH.

I shouldn't blame the whole front desk workers because of one person. She made me almost want to change to another clinic because if her incompetence.

The staff is excellent and professional. Dr. Andaya and Nurse Practitioner Vivian Scanlon are wonderful.

This is for Dr. Ricalde’s office, Its too annoying that they are taking too long to fax it back the document. They also asked me three times to fax that document even it was delivered. Theres one lady in the front also who has poor customer service, she talk like she is angry or has a bad mood all the time.

I had never been here before. Check-in was fine and I received my paperwork to go to the lab. I sat & waited for 20 min.before I went up to the reception again and said that I never received a number (that I saw others holding). It was then that the receptionist told me to go to the lab window to take a number. I didn't know where that was since I had never been here. It's now been over 45 min waiting for a blood test when I got here before 7 a.m. I'm going to my regular place, DLS next time. DLS also opens earlier.

You cannot count on this Walk-in Clinic being open at the Aiea location. Even though the staff tell you they have this facility, don’t ever take it for granted that they will be open, call first. Secondly, don’t go there with several things wrong, you will be made to choose which is the most serious. They only help with one problem per visit. I had three issues. After having a complete melt down they were kind enough to help me this time.
