16AMAZING SHREDDED BEEF TACOS! Will go here every time I'm at the north shore! Good and Mexican Coke a cola was perfect. Hit the spot after going paddleboardig!
Love their homemade taco shells. The pork was my favorite. Both of the sausage were excellent very reasonable price.
I consider myself a nacho connoisseur, and these were by far the best nachos I’ve ever had. Top tier food every single time.
We tried 3 types of tacos and they were all very good. Customer service was great. However, I knocked off one star because we had to pay for parking. Made no sense that we had to pay for parking. There are plenty of good food trucks around the area with free parking.
I had the ranchero burrito with carne asada and it was UNREAL. Soooooo good and just enough kick with the spice level. 10/10
Great food! The atmosphere in the "backyard" is really nice and inviting. The live music is fun. So far the best Mexican food I have found on the island.
Amazing taco place. Got two meat tacos and two vegan tacos and a quesadilla and everything was so good. Outdoor seating is behind the restaurant and this place is a close drive to the beach and marketplaces.
We had only really want to go to this place because of their taco Tuesday deal of 5 for $8 mind you it is 1/11/22 which is a Tuesday. When we got there the girl told us that they couldn't do the taco Tuesday deal, so we ordered carne asada fries instead. She then told us the wait was going to be 30 minutes AFTER we paid? Which is long considering the most you ever wait for any food truck is 10 minutes. If we had known it would've taken 30 minutes we would've just went to a restaurant however we wanted to eat h the sunset and settled on tacos for dinner. AN HOUR LATER after a horrible numbering system they had (having #100, #93, #27, #55, #23, #5, #4 and then #9 being ours called) we finally got our food while waiting with all the bugs around us. The carne asada is subpar, it tastes like black pepper more than anything when you bite into the meat the fries were soggy and it looked like they put shredded cheese on the fries and microwaved it to get that nasty greasy look on it. I wish I would've gone to papi's tacos ️
This place has a lot of heart and some really good food! We got rained out before finishing our meal even tho they have unbrellas it was a dumper. We'll be back. Can't wait.
Pleasantly surprised to find legit SoCal Mexican food in Hawaii. Homemade tortillas, shredded beef, pastor, machaca and refried beans that are to die for. Plenty of seating area. Wish they would do something about the flies though. We’ve eaten at the food trucks in this area daily for the past 10 days and this is the only place that you get swarmed with flies when your food comes. Shame since they have such a nice seating area. Hasn’t stopped us from returning 3 times but today we had to take our food and eat in our car because the flies were too much. The food is amazing though!
Seriously good tacos! Your choice of steak, shrimp, chicken, pastor and more. We went on Taco Tuesday and got the 5 tacos for $8 and did one of each meat with all the toppings:) we also got the Carne Asada fries which were AMAZING and definitely enough to share. The atmosphere here is laid back and there is plenty seating out back. We got here early (around 5: 30) and there was no line but got busy real quick so I'd suggest arriving before 6: 30 to avoid a long wait, although I'd wait for a LONG time for the food here:)
The food is Great&service very pleasing. The black area is so comfortable I would love to play some music there. Hola & Mahalo WiTchDokTa Mr Ghost️️️
Just love this place. Went with a big group of friends and had so much fun. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended
I had to walk out. I asked if they had cooked peppers and onions cause I don't eat meat (for tacos), the lady responded with a ugly look & tone saying " it's onions in the salsa" Think she should work on customer service.
Had an outstanding lunch here! The food was phenomenal. We ended up getting 4 carne asada tacos (crunchy), ranchero burrito, quesadillas and tsunami fries, which are just carna asada fries with shrimp added.
Over all everything was amazing. You must try the hard shell tacos. They aren't like the usual hard shell you'd expect. We'll be back!
Super rude lady / staff at the front desk right when you are trying to order.
Made us repeat what we were saying 3-4 times while playing blaring music behind her head. Kept saying I can't hear you. And then started scowling at us for no reason without answering our questions about the menu.
Set the tone for the experience the might follow. Seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. We walked away.
