Delicious sushi, good edamame and tasty Miso! We'll probably order online next time because it's a long wait, but it's worth the wait!

There's nothing quite like it! This place is amazing! There are a number of other restaurants and local shops in the area / market. However, this one stands out from the rest. Their menu is amazing and truly difficult to make a bad decision. I ordered the Legendary Sushi Burrito with salmon and a Lil Miso Soup and their homemade hibiscus tea. Everything is freshly made to order. The staff was super kind and welcoming. The burrito was a blast of flavor with every bite, and the yum yum sauce was a perfect pair. It's a great meal after a day at the beach, so fresh and delicious. They have a little outdoor seating area for you to enjoy and explore the surrounding shops. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We had the poke bowl daily special and It was delicious! The ladies were super nice and helpful in telling us their recommendations. It was mouthwatering!

The food was outstanding. The tea was the best tea ever! Highly recommend this restaurant. The outdoor seating was peaceful.

The place and the staff are super nice, although the Poke was not even close to what we expected.
It was mainly rice with very little fish and seaweed, half Poke (Keiki) and full size Poke got the same amount of toppings and the only difference was the amount of rice.

Ate mid Sept 2023. Our group didn't really like the sushi. The rice seemed to be lacking depth of flavor and was bringing down the rest of the roll. The macadamians were a really noce touch. I did really enjoy my poke with sea asparagus.

Incredible poke bowl and rolls. A bit of a wait for our food, but 100% worth it! Very fresh, great flavor and good service even with our fairly large group. We found a spot in the shade to enjoy and wished we got more items to try! Vegetarian options available for those needing them. Highly recommend

The best maki rolls on the north side! Loved the sea asparagus in the poki bowls too. Order ahead by calling their number, makes it less of a wait.

A good truck in an outdoor shopping mall. Their food was spectacular. Only complaint was the nori can be difficult to bite through on the burrito.

Sushi Girl has the most FRESH and BEST sushi in Kīlauea town beloved by locals and visitors lucky enough to find and exercise patience. Just make sure to order your morsels here before they're gone boys and "girls! " Also, patience is a virtue! Slow down.you're in Hawaii. Aloha.

I have always enjoyed Sushi girl. As a vegan finding food can be challenging, but their Garden wraps and avocado sushi is just so delicious! Highly recommend. Great area to explore, right next to historical Kilauea bakery where you can grab a dessert

So good & worth the wait! Call ahead to get your food faster and make sure you beat the dinner rush or they might close early! Their rolls are all amazing and the OG burrito with crab is my personal favorite.

Sushi is OK nothing out of the ordinary, cashier needs to change her attitude, be more friendly and understand that customer service is EVERYTHING. After paying $125 they want to charge me extra for sauce, no thank you. I'll not recommend this place, and will not come back.

It took an hour to get our food, it was alright but not sure it was worth the wait. The yum yum sauce is great though

Amazing vegan options and the best masubi I've had in Hawaii. The sushi burritos are loaded with fresh veg and flavor. I was sad that they had run out of the teriyaki tempeh, but still was not disappointed.

Consistently good flavors! Great options for vegetarians and vegans. Our favorite is the garden sushi burrito; so tasty! Sometimes can be 30-45 min wait for food, but lots of little shops in the plaza to kill time if you need to. Food is well worth the wait!

Absolutely incredible. Could not recommend more highly. The whole area is awesome, but the sushi burrito was mind blowing.

Been coming to see SushiGirl for the last 6 years. Loved her old location, but will go anywhere to go get some sushi at least two or three times any time I come to the island.

We loved Sushigirl & came a couple of times during our trip to Kauai. Probably the best sushi & poke we’ve both had! Call in for your order to expedite wait times, but it is so worth the wait:)
