Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors Lahaina reviews
18I go here often. They don't seem to keep up on a lot of beers and need to keep up with the Sake selection. If they are out of something then it may be because it is popular and should be ordering more. Whoever orders should wake up.
If you are looking for anything outside of basics that are at Safeway this is it. Prices seemed very reasonable
Our favorite poke stop on the whole island. Seems like only locals here when we visit and lots of fresh poke options. They make it fresh all day. And don’t forget the great prices on wine and liquor. We almost always come here twice a week when visiting Maui!
Best poke in town and impressive cigar selection with great prices. No need to bring cigars from home. Oh and lots of booze!
Super glad we decided to check out this lowkey poke spot tucked away in an unassuming liquor store. Delicious and fresh poke - we got the Tamura special (my fav for something less saucy), summer paradise, and the spicy ahi. Would recommend pairing it with rice and seaweed packs!
Great quality poke bowls! Fresh & high quality fish, perfect to grab & go head to the beach!
Best poke I have ever had. I went on Reddit to see what the best poke that is available in Maui and I've read that it was either Tamara's or foodland. I've tried both and they both have their upside.
Foodland has better rice and the poke selection isn't as much as Tamura's. They have a lot of fewer selections so if you like a certain item, they will have it.
Tamura's has more selection but there is a chance that they will run out. The rice isn't as great. I believe they use long grain rice compared to foodland but that isn't a big deal. My trip to Maui, I've been here 4 out of the 8 days I was there. I would highly recommend getting poke here. There is also a bunch of liquor and cigar selection here as well.
Great poke inside of this liquor store, a hidden gem. $23.99lb as of mid December. Ahi ginger hit the spot
We went there for the "famous poke". They have a wide selection not only of ahi but also octopus and other stuff. The taste, however, wasn't anything awesome as other reviews say. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It wouldn't be my go-to place for poke.
Tamura’s has an excellent selection of wine, and the prices are not much higher than the mainland! The poke…. Wow! So good! We had both the spicy ahi and the sunrise poke, and both were outstanding! Highly recommend!
Best sunrise tuna poke! The ocean salad and rice so good too! The Tamara poke is excellent as well as the California salmon. Everything delicious! Don’t miss out. Delicious!
Fresh poke available after 11am. $23.99 per lb, $2 for a side of rice. Many varieties to try, we did several 1/2 and 1/2 containers so we could taste many flavors.
Da best poké on the island, and the best selection of local and big island beers. I always stop in and grab a shirt or a hat. People in SoCal know about Tamura's now and tell me the poké is the best.
Tamuras became our first stop every day before headed to the beach. Their selection of beer is amazing, huge bags of ice for the cooler, and THE POKE! Best poke in Maui. Especially loved the spicy crawfish. Staff is so patient and kind. So happy to find this not so hidden gem in Lahaina.
Impressive selection of booze, including some Japanese whiskeys I have not seen in awhile. Reasonable prices too. And don't pass up the chance to pick up some of the best poke in town while you are there.
Really just visited for the poke. Super fresh and great variety. Definitely worth a visit!
Best poke in Lahaina! You can tell each option is made with aloha and fresh ingredients. Today for lunch I stopped in and got a Poke bowl w the “ninja” option. The Ahi is perfectly flavored and so tender. Took mine home, threw in some of the pickled garlic and fresh avo. So Ono!
