Tango Contemporary Cafe reviews
25Fantastic food from start to finish, and a very friendly, attentive team at the restaurant. Can't wait to go back!
Yummy food. The vegetable board was full of delicious veggies. I got the curry that was tasty. The desserts were good as well.
My god this place is amazing. The food was outstanding. Thank you for the excellent service. Please spread the word.
The service was impeccable and the food was tasty. We ate there for dinner as an early Father's day surprise. Cody A.arrived promptly after seating and took our drink order then returned for appetizer and entrée orders. We had crab cakes and the onion soup. Both were delicious. We also had tenderloin, the risotto, the salmon dinners and there were no complaints. The tenderloin was moist and cooked to order. I heard the salmon was delicious. But I also got to taste the risotto with garlic shrimp. That is what I should have ordered. It was delicious. The table bread was a foccacia bread with pesto and olive oil on the side. It was a very good complement to the meal. I will definitely go back for more, especially the risotto. The prices are a little high but definitely worth it. It was very busy there too. Park in the parking structure in the back and the restaurant will validate - so free parking for 2.5 hours. Almost forgot the deserts. We had the affogado, Kona coffee ice cream cake, bread pudding, brownie ice cream, and again no complaints. Delicious all around.
One of my go-to places, always delicious food and great customer service! Love their jansson' s temptation for weekend brunch.
Always great for brunch or lunch. The Loco Moco Benedict and Onion Soup are particular favorites here. Parking is right around the corner and almost always available.
The food was decidedly mediocre. Even if the food was half the price I wouldn't go back. It had nothing that was alluring, or memorable.
The presentation of the food was good, but that left me with a deep sense of dissatisfaction as I was expecting more. I'm not sure why this place gets good reviews. There are numerous places that are better at the same price point or cheaper (which is sad). Maybe, the chefs were having an off night.
The service was decent.
Edit: I just realized that most of the reviews are for breakfast/brunch. It's possible that the breakfast is better than the dinner menu.
Edit: Went to Fete in Chinatown next week. Cafe Tango is trash. The second worst restaurant I've been to on Oahu. Do not go here if you like good food.
Service is impeccable. Cobb Salad and curry with chicken were flavorful and perfect finish with Blueberry Bread Pudding. Bravo!
Food was outstanding! And the staff was super friendly & accommodating to our family - one of which is blind & hard of hearing. I will definitely be back!
The service is impeccable. The coffee is savoring from the very first cup. The price is right in a setting one would think of paying up the yin-yangs. Highly reccomend this place to dine.
This is one of honolulu's best kept secrets.a boutique eatery with a cool vibe, wonderful staff, an incredible kitchen crew, unforgettable, delectable bites and a fabulous wine list. Every single time we've eaten here we've uncovered more favorites.everything is fantastic. Honolulu's diamond in the rough!
Had a fantastic Bloody Mary and a sublime Crab cake Benedict for brunch. Great service, excellent food. Had a bit of a wait bit they were kind enough to bring us ice water while we sat outside.
Tango is my go-to neighborhood restaurant - always a pleasure eating here - great food, best coffee in town, wonderful wine list and friendly, professional wait staff. You can't go wrong at Tango.
I went here because I liked the sign and I'm very happy I did. The menu is small but everything seemed worth trying and the prices were actually affordable.
Good place but food is ok.gone there 4 times for business lunches but prefer Earl' s for lunch anytime!
Decent service. We were there for Paradise Pedal stop but were only able to get a drink in. The drinks were delicious and hit the Pau Hana spot.
Staff and food really good. Menu while not huge has something for everyone. Went for dinner, want to return for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch
Super little foodie restaurant. They seem to coddle their dishes, taking supreme care with everything. Mid priced and worth the occasional splash.
First time breakfast there. I loved the way they cooked. French toast was just right sweetness.
Last week for dinner I was stunned by the manager's recommendation of seafood linguini, scallops and local shrimp. I swear the linguini was rolled and cut fresh that day, wonderful, my wife's sea bass, again wonderful. Follow that up with freshly made chocolate brownie, ice cream and decaf coffee. I could kiss and hug the staff and whole world after that meal. Yesterday we had a light late meal of scratch made soup French onion for my wife and mushroom for me followed by desert and coffee, yup wonderful again. What will they have tomorrow?
