Teapresso Bar Hilo

Though we're unable to enter the shop. The business created a pull up service where you place your blinkers on for service. I've gone on a busy time and not so busy time and the workers are very quick and efficient.

I LOVE this establishment for a few reasons, it has curbside ordering. Upon pulling up there all you need is to turn on Hazard signaling blinkers to let them know you need to order. Once they have noticed or finished with assisting previous customer they come to take your order. You can either pay by card or cash then finally someone will bring your order. My FAVORITE DRINK There is the Ube Latte with Ube walls and Egg pudding.

I've gone 3 times now in hopes that someone will take my order. The first time I was ignored trying to order while sitting in my car so I left. The second time I forgot what happened to me the first time until it happened to me again! Just watched the workers go in and out of the store so I left. I later discovered you're supposed to turn on your lights (hazard/blinking) even though I've spoken to other people who have said they get helped quickly without any blinking lights. So to be fair I give it a third try. I parked in a stall, turned on the blinking lights and waited a total of 8 minutes before leaving empty handed. It wasn't the 8 minutes but the fact that no one came to take my order. I watched the workers walk in and out helping two other cars. And then I see a third car getting helped but wasn't sure if that car was before me or not. A car pulled up next to me and a worker came out immediately and took their order! In addition to all this these workers see me and I see them. None of them greeted me, told me to hold on, nothing. Just looked at me and kept moving in the manner that I can only describe as "I'm busy/I'm helping someone else/I can only do one thing at a time. " The boba isn't that great, it's expensive, and now terrible customer service. Maybe I'm the only one this happened to but before I put out this review I gave it three tries. Three tries navigating into a stall there! Sorry! But I'm gonna have to pass on spending my money at Teapresso from here on out. There's always Ding Tea!

I didn't want to use the plastic lids and extra plastic mouth piece cover, they refused to recycle because I touched it. They don't have espresso beans and the taste in the plain espresso like just drinking regular coffee.

Gabby was amazing at customer service! She was very positive and helpful with our questions, she made the best of a situation when one of the drinks was too strong and fixed it without complaint. Would definitely make the trip again all the way from Kona for her great service compared to the other girls working that day.

It seems expensive but it is delicious. The staff earn the five star for me. Friendly, aware and quick. I love that.

Brown sugar milk tea with mini boba was floral and delightful. I tried the haupia milk tea with haupia walls and it wasn't my favorite. Gold was struck however with the brown sugar.

The parking lot is a little tricky to maneuver, but overall it's worth it! The service was quick and friendly.

Also, due to covid they've got a cool option to wait in your car and they come to you. You park and turn ur hazards on when ready to order. Such a cool system.

I got a taro milk tea but I guess I doesn't come with sugar and was very bitter. They were very friendly and helpful and remade my order! I notice it's much brighter in side the store and the music was not blaring this time. Mahalo nui Teaspresso!

Good drinks, clean seating, and friendly staff; however, they can be a little slow at peak times and the drinks are a tad expensive. The stuff they can't control is the lack of parking. But if you time it right, it's a non issue.

But the drinks are really good as I mentioned before and the staff are very nice; the service is worth 5 stars.

The have really good drinks and friendly staff. The music is very loud you can't hear anything. The drinks are some what expensive. It's dark inside and very small.

Oh my gosh you ruined me for other coffee. The taro latte was the best I've ever had. Now I can't have regular coffee again.
Seriously try it, it's so amazing! I'm in love with it!

I specifically ordered a tea with lite ice. Driving away I realized the drink had too much ice (deluting the drink). I called spoke to Destiney assuring they would remake the drink if I was to come back. Keep in mind the drink does not have a standard lid (its a peice of plastic glued to the rim) I came back in 25 to 30 mins while running my daughter to ballet. When I inquired on the drink I had a chance to meet Destiney. It was a waste of my time she informed me she was only giving a credit back and wanted to see proof of the old cup, even though she admitted on the phone the new cashier made a mistake which led to this. I asked to speak to a manager to which she asked me to step outside. Only to go down a couple of stores get on a phone and tell a one sided story to a supposed manager. The tantrum was unnecessary by Destiney the lack of customer service is evident and no accountability. This is an entry level job, and boba merely a fad how long will it take for a so called manager to reconize the importance of a customer.

Great boba for Hilo. Efficient, quick and usually done right. They seem to make my drink a little smaller each time though.

Interesting flavors. I tried the peach cantelope tea and it was great. I shared with my wife who also enjoyed it.

So happy we found this little spot in Hilo, the hours are perfect, staff always friendly and tea options are bountiful.
