Teddy's Bigger Burgers, Aiea HI

Had the pleasure of trying this place for an early dinner yesterday and ordered the single spicy Mac and cheese bite burger, side of tater tots and the orange creamsicle milk shake. Burgers are 1/3 lb so be careful out there Fam! Tater tots were just as crunchy as I like them. The burger was cooked to order and hot, very juicy and tasty! The fried Mac and cheese bites left a little to be desired. The highlight for me was definitely the milkshake as I don't think I've ever had that combination. Certainly a throwback to the dreamsicle of our childhoods.

Too much to ask for a chocolate malt at 8: 59-9: 01 pm

They preclose grill making it impossible to make a chocolate malt. Seriously?

That was excuse I got.

Bad enough teddys dropped the military discount. Nothing rude there. It took years to make it back to Teddys.

Now can’t even get a simple chocolate malt

Next time shop from post wants a teddys run. Will go to any place else.

Have been flipping burgers since before these clowns were born. 30 seconds to make a chocolate malt and another 10 seconds to clean up. Without the grill.

Never mind went back to the house rough grind a prime rib for burger, cut my own fries and proceeded to whip out the blender and make my own mudslide chocolate malt.

Prefer my cooking anyway over some kid not wanting to work for a living.

Definitely NOT rushing back to Teddys. It took years to find our way back to Teddys after they dropped their military discount nothing insulting there. Definitely NOT rushing back to a bunch of lazy workers. Gramps cooks much better. Flippin better burgers since 1976.

Oh, gosh we were very excited to eat a Teddy's burger at this location while here on vacation. We had a very good meal the first time we visited a few years back at this spot. We ordered 2 burgers and both were dripping in grease - the bottom buns were completely soaked, yuck. We did our best to dry them with napkins. The fries were easily the highlight of our meal. I was scared all evening that we would be sick from eating these grease-soaked burgers but we made it unscathed. Also, the inside of the restaurant is just filthy. I know that my opinion is completely subjective, but feel that we wasted our money. Don't plan on coming back in the future.

Very delicious hamburger, we ordered the Hawaiian flavor (Hawaiian) with pineapple, it was really delicious Super tasty and made to order so there is a wait.

The waitress was very considerate and asked us if we wanted to cut the burger in half. The small blue paper cups are paper cups for drinking water. She also taught us how to fill the water. Thank you very much.

Loses one star due to price. I could understand if the combos were like $8 but $14 a pop on combos is a bit much. Other than that it is a very good choice of a place to eat.

Teddy’s is always a good choice for a delicious burger. Everything is made to order and so fresh! The buns are so soft and soak up those burger juices. Fries are always nice and crispy too. Love going here for some great comfort food. Lots of parking available and always friendly service.

It’s your average burger and fries joint. We like to come here when we want a simple burger. Nothing to fancy. Our favorites are the Nom Nom and Kailua Fire burger. The tater tots and onion ringer were over cooked but not bad

Customer service was excellent. I had the Teri hamburger, fries, and peanut shake, so Ono (delicious). The tables were dirty. I didn't appreciate that. They should remember COViD and not slack on keeping the tables and chairs clean. Sauce for the fries ono (delicious) mustard mayo. Total bill over $50. Can't bring the family there very expensive. My daughter treated.

We ordered 4 items to go, two that we requested lettuce instead of buns which was only wrapped in paper wrap. They told us not to worry about the sauce because it’s on the side, but that was a lie as the sauce was in the burger. The sauce leaked everywhere, causing the bottom of the bag to rip open. Maybe I’d cut them some slack for the lettuce wrap burgers if they don’t have containers, but the one sandwich we got with the buns was in a plastic container.

We didn’t get everything we ordered, like the jalapeños on the volcano burger nor the additional bacon we requested. They advertise toys on their keiki menu, but they didnt give us any toys even though we mentioned we were only getting keiki meals for the toys.

This is not the first time this place has made me sad, but that’s on me for coming back to give it another chance.

It's been years since I last came to this locale. First time was when I was in college.this is now my second time here. And it still doesn't disappoint.

But! That still just makes it all the more appetizing if someone like me can eat and almost completely forget.
My other half got the BBQ Burger, while I got the Teriyaki Burger.
If you want a good local food joint, then come try Teddys Bigger Burgers.
You will find them so delicious, you'll dive in right before you notice it's gone.

Overpriced, and they gave me tin foil to put my leftover onion rings in instead a normal container? Owner must be that stingy

In Aiea's Teddy's Bigger Burgers we dined,
A tale of mild discontent, now I unwind.
For the scene I shall set,
An experience I won't soon forget.

Once with hope, I stepped inside,
Craving a meal that would satisfy.
But alas, dear reader, my hopes were dashed,
Teddy's Bigger Burgers left me somewhat abashed.

Their burger, a mess, a jumble so bold,
A landslide of toppings, a story untold.
Oh, the disordered state within the bun,
A culinary misstep, but the night was young.

The onion rings, a bit too seasoned, quite odd,
Their flavors obscured, as if under a shroud.
Salt, a tad overzealous, a noticeable feature,
But surely, a forgivable creature.

The fries, overcooked, a touch too crisp,
Their texture a challenge, but not to dismiss.
A learning experience, a room to improve,
Their potential, I'm sure, they'll eventually prove.

Dear Teddy's Bigger Burgers, I hope you take note,
A few small changes could keep you afloat.
With a lighter heart, I pen this review,
Two stars I grant thee, for progress in view.

With the Teddy's in Kapolei closed, we decided to stop at this location. The food is still great and this location has some great atmosphere. The primary issue really is parking which is a real challenge but it's worth the visit.

Food was excellent. Service was great. I'm a bit worried about 4 hamburger combos costing $86. Expensive lunch.

Good food with a friendly staff. If you want a burger that tastes really good, give this place a go. Not exactly cheap, but the taste and size is worth it.

I love coming to Teddy's and getting the volcano burger. Yesterday I switched it up and got the jalapeno popper burger. I like that they have new flavors occasionally and that you can also get a margarita on Mondays for $3. They're kind of pricey but definitely delicious

Inside seating area was clean. Nice service. The burger was massive and very good. The unami French fries were also delicious. Expensive burger but it's worth a try and tasty!

Truly one of the most delicious burgers I have eaten in Hawaii. The menu is extensive and will make your eyes widen. Upon my friend's recommendation, I ordered the Kailua burger with a well-done patty, and it did not disappoint! The teriyaki sauce on the burger was a first for me, and it was simply delightful. The French fries were also top-notch. Parking was not a problem, but the shared restroom threw me off a bit. The prices of fast food items here seemed expensive we ended up paying almost $45 for two burgers. However, given the scrumptious taste, it was probably worth it. Let's not forget, we're in Hawaii, baby!

The Kapiolani burger and Garlic butter fries are da bomb! If you get the garlic butter fries, the melted butter may all be at the bottom so you would have to mix around the fries a little or scoop up from the bottom to get the full buttery garlicky cheesy experience! The burger was done medium and juicy and tasty as usual with garlic seasoning, avocado, onion, and pepper jack cheese!
