The Sippin Siren reviews
19I wish there was more seating availability, but other than that the food and coffee was so good!
Stopped by for a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee before going on a hike and ohhh my GOD I was not expecting how good the breakfast (specifically the coffee!) would be. I'm a visitor and when I travel I try not to go to the same place twice so I can experience more. But I just had to return the next day before leaving the island! Food was great, small but cute place, very nice service from the 3 young girls. The menu options were very pricey, but to be honest that's just how it goes at this point. The sandwich I got was the sausage and eggs on a croissant, and I got the vanilla coffee. Would recommend, and will come again if I'm ever back!
Best place for coffee in town. Kelli knows how to pour an espresso shot! My Fave, ask for a Dirty Chai (Double Shot).
I sat there for a while before I got my latte, which I didn’t mind, but when i received it I laughed at how small it was. You know those tiny free water cups, yea that’s what a “small” looked like. I feel like it’s a bit overpriced. I honestly don’t care that they lost the ticket to my order and I was waiting for 10 minutes but the quality I received was not great.
So stoked to have finally visited this gem! Do yourself a favor and get the bagel breakfast sandy with the jalapeño artichoke cream cheese spread. It’s soooo ono! Love the vibe here too, great spot to sit and relax or easy grab and go too. I tried the sunrise smoothie and want to go back soon to try their coffee and teas. Huge menu to choose from! Highly recommend and will be back.
Super chilled vibe inside. Nice music playing in the background. Extremely friendly service. Rapid turnaround on the order. Lovey hot cappuccino great flavor. Deceptive as the area it’s in is not that great looking, very industrial. Would highly recommend.
The barista in training was so nice and sweet.
This place it’s a must… don’t miss it.
Really good coffee shop. We loved our expresso freezers. They were delicious, and customer service was friendly and welcoming. Would recommend.
Stopped in this morning for a coffee and bagel. The service was friendly and the food did not disappoint, plus the atmosphere/decor is really cool.
It's a very small store, so you have to look closely to find it. There is a parking lot in front of the store, which is convenient. There are about 4 seats inside and a small table outside. It opens early, making it a great place to enjoy a light breakfast and coffee.
We came in on the Pride of America and we’re looking for a cool little coffee shop with great coffee, friendly staff and we lucked up and found that with this shop. We would definitely come back here again.
The café is in a central location, with parking spaces in front of the front door.
There is limited seating in the café, all facing the street.
The food tastes good and was served very hot, but wrapped in aluminum foil. The bagels and croissants we ordered were therefore already dented before they were eaten. The freshly prepared boat made of papaya, yoghurt and muesli is highly recommended. According to the description, the muesli is roasted in the café itself.
Orange juice in a pouch made me hopeful I would get a freshly squeezed OJ finally (something unknown on the Hawai'i island). Sadly it was the pasteurized stuff from the grocery store. Coffee was burnt and tasted off.
Also message board clash (see photo below) - do what feels good but only for 45mins
The papaya banana cake and the honey oatmilk latte with ube whip cream was simply amazing! 100% recommend this place!
The shop was cute and clean. The gal behind the counter was helpful and kind. We ordered a few drinks and grabbed some snacks for the road. Our beverages arrived promptly and were quite delicious. We would visit again.
Stopped here several times while staying in Hilo and I really liked this place. They make a really good bagel breakfast sandwich and the coffee is great. Definitely stop by if you need lunch or breakfast!
One of the best places to get a very good rich and flavorful latte on island- there are only a handful of places and Sipp’in Siren is one of them!
Great small coffee shop. Wasn't busy when I went in, so I was able to get my order quickly. They have a good selection of drinks and some pastries as well.
Great little place with good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Friendly staff and easy location.
