The Vida Mia, Honolulu HI

I booked the morning coffee cruise for my family trip. The experience was amazing! I have gone on different cruises and this was unique. The boat and staff are environmentally conscious. The wooden antique boat moves through the water less aggressively and is better for the sea and animals. The seating allows for a great view of the island, ocean and mountains. The captain is very attentive and respectful to the overall environment and experience. The crew is very kind and knowledgeable about the sea. We spotted dolphins and a turtle. It’s really special when animals choose to turn up and we’re grateful for the experience. We booked the 7am cruise, which was perfect because you get to experience Hawaii as it’s just woken up.

We had an amazing morning on the coffee and pastry cruise. Captain Ricky, Nicole, and Celeste couldn't have been more wonderful. For a special occasion or to get out on the water to relax and to have a great view of Waikiki, I highly recommend the Vida Mia.

Captain and crew were great. Coffee and breakfast were delicious and the views can’t be beat.

My friends and I had a fantastic time on the Vida Mia coffee cruise! It is a beautiful boat with a ton of cool history and the staff were full of aloha spirit. The coffee provided by Honolulu Coffee was delicious. There is something that feels so luxurious about sitting on the bow with the clear ocean and Waikiki views while sipping some fresh brew! 10 out of 10, would love to do it again next time I am on Oahu.

Are you someone who wants an intimate, authentic, nautically unique experience in Honolulu? This is your cruise! The Vida Mia is a gem; a gorgeously refurbished 1929 boat you can sail on to view the entire Waikiki Beach area while enjoying a fantastic dinner featuring fresh local foods prepared by the nearby Yacht Club. Not to mention you’ll have entertainment, a friendly crew, and relaxed vibes. However! This boat is not for the faint of heart—it is nearly 100 years old and there are not a lot of “safety rails. ” But adventurous types, seafaring gourmands, intrepid pirates: get thee to the Vida Mia! Bon voyage!

Very pleasant trip. Lots of goodies to eat and coffee. The staff was very friendly. The center canopy provides plenty of shade.

We did the coffee cruise and absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend. The coffee and food was great, people were so nice, and the boat was beautiful!

The coffee cruise is the perfect start for a great morning in Waikiki! The boat harbor & The Vida Mia are easy to navigate & locate and once aboard, the crew & captain are extremely kind & attentive! The coastal and marine life views are breathtaking, but the boat is a cute piece of history in herself, so be sure to look around below deck, too. The breakfast spread & coffee bar were both delicious, with a wide variety of options. Definitely try the poi banana bread! It was a 10/10 & we will definitely be back again!

Amazing boat ride! Seriously felt like the staff was family. If you are ever debating doing this boat ride, DO IT! Captain Ricky was a kind-hearted host, Laurie the attendant was joyful and had so much knowledge to share about the boats history! Kahi was a lovely crew memeber and was always considerate of our guests! I will be going on this boat again in the future!

Most amazing crew! Captain Ricky was just the sweetest! We had a Make A Wish kid on a visit! Treated us like royalty and family! Oct 2023 and I’d choose them! Taught us so much about island and facts as well! Down to earth crew! Our heart will always remember this sunset cruise!

Such a beautiful boat! The sunset cruise experience was amazing and the captain and crew were so friendly and helpful. You know when you interact with people who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and it makes the experience so much better? That’s what is going on here. I’ve been on several other sunset cruises and this is by far the best.

We had such a great time! This is definitely our favorite excursion here in Oahu. So happy we got to go on it twice. Everything was wonderful! Way to go captain Ricky

We spent 10 days in Hawaii and planned a dinner cruise on the VIDA MIA for our last night. This 90 minute cruise was the highlight of our entire vacation, with a great crew and very enjoyable live music.
Next time we're in Hawaii, this will b be first on our list!

We had a great time during our morning coffee cruise on the Vida Mia! Beautiful boat, wonderful crew, and honestly the best banana bread I had on Oahu. The crew was so kind and attentive with us (we had a small kiddo on board), and Captain Ricky made a point to say hi to our family when he saw us walking that evening. Could not recommend this one more!

This was my 3rd Coffee cruise and 4th time on the Vida Mia (I’ve also done the Friday nights fireworks cruise).

I keep coming back for the following reasons:
- great captains and crew who love what they do
- beautiful boat that is lovingly preserved for us to enjoy
- excellent views of Honolulu skyline and Lë’ahi
- good breakfast spread and coffee
