Restaurant Tradewinds reviews
16Excellent burgers. Nice environment. Fairly well equipped bar, though only canned and bottled beers available. Minimally crewed (1 each front & back of house) most of the time.
My wife and I went to the Tradewinds for a wedding reception and Everything was First Class! The food was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for future events.
The burgers are done well done only. Not very interesting. The Swiss cheese is in the style of Kraft singles. It got out pretty quickly thou, and the waitress was nice!
I called to place a curbside order as indicated on their menu as an option. I was told it was no longer a thing and that since she had a long line at the bar she couldn't take my order.
ICE Complaint should help.
Had a great week in a conference. Room was bright, clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Food was average.
Very authentic food and atmosphere. Nice family/friends who run it. Reasonable prices. One of very few places on Oahu with decent xiaolongbao
Located inside Hickam Air Force Base. Went during lunch on a weekday & hardly anybody was there.
Management is a bunch of liers and crooks. The bill is different from what's posted on the menu. The cashier admitted management has known about this issue for over 2 months. Management chooses to lie to then cheat customers rather than update their menu.
A quiet E-club that seldom gets very busy and has a fun staff. I enjoy playing cornhole and having beers here. The burgers are very large and juicy.
Had a teriyaki burger and it was cooked perfectly. Prices are fair and reallly nice atmosphere. My favorite place to eat on base by far.
Went there during an hour lunch break with my husband. Food arrived bout 40 minutes later. Burger was supposed to be medium well but it was burnt. I can still taste the burnt. Burger came before the hot wings. Secretary came to our table stating the manager told her to check on us. Asked for our phone number not knowing why but never received a phone call. She kept saying comp but we still paid for our food. Guess manager was sitting around. People working there didn’t seem to know their job. Suggest better training. Recommend just going elsewhere for lunch.
Typical MWR NCO Club. There are Trivia games that are fun. The food is cheap and the service is fine. Good place for single soldiers to kick back and hang out together.
The food is average, not quite mediocre. But there's absolutely nothing special or memorable about it.
Service is horrible, The staff are friendly and attentive, but the location is severely understaffed.
Atmosphere somebody's either being stingy with the electricity or the HVAC needs attention. It's incredibly humid inside and it gets hot pretty quick when you have a lot of people.
It's as expensive or more expensive than many places off base, If it wasn't for this, I would probably be a lot more generous in my rating. But if you're going to pretend to compete with off-based establishments, you better be making up for it in some way.
For a place on base, it's great! Food is good, drinks are cheap, service is solid. I recommend the place if you're in the area!
Trade Winds converted to an “all ranks”Venue lately. The transplanted O’club crew is a welcome sight and still provide the same friendly welcoming service.
A bar food menu is well prepared portions plentiful affordable for an all military family menu and if you’re hungry enough you’ll find something
Lots of TVs tuned into sports
The bar prices are lower than most on base venue’s beer choices.
AC more than adequate.decor is metallic red black (ugly) but you can ignore that after a couple of brews.
The out side dining lanai is beautiful so that is definitely worth a visit on a breezy Hawaiian evening.
