Tropical Dreams- Gourmet Ice cream reviews
12Worst mango smoothie I have ever had. The bagel was burnt. The shopkeeper was very rude too. I am never going there. Only good thing about this place is that it is by the ocean. Please don’t waste your money.
The store has a great location.
It was a shop that I happened to stop by, but the owner? His wife is Japanese, so he spoke to me in Japanese very friendly.
We recommend sitting at the counter while eating the ice cream you bought here. It's a little dirty.
When we went there, it seemed to be the season for whales to give birth, and whales were pumping up fountains in the sea in front of us.
I was impressed with how close it was.
Animal harassment? ? I think it was a very valuable experience to be able to see marine life in its natural state under strict regulations such as the dolphin watching must be seen from a distance of 40m or more.
The ice cream is delicious and reasonably priced.
It's a strangely good memory that other reviews have low ratings.
I made a detour to this place just because carry Tropical Dreams. OMG the place is dumb, dirty, broken freezer in front of place. Two counter attend one play on is laptop ignoring the 7 deep line, the other guys make a point to let you your going to be waiting before being serve. I could smell booze on is breath. Try Calypso down the street they are nice and professional…
Went and asked for a passion fruit sorbet and was told they didn’t have it. I asked if they had any sorbet and he said we don’t have anything. Whelp just walked away with my disappointed 1 yr old son. The person working had literally NO INTEREST in helping.
The server dude cracked jokes about how fun it was to deny coffee to women in the morning. To women? Try anyone. Clearly trying to get rise out of customers - maybe to bait them for a hidden camera. Douche. The ice cream is supposedly great - wish they had other outlets than this run down site with a dumby server
This smoothie shop is very unfriendly. There was a tone of extreme impatience in his voice. The shaved ice only smells of pigment. It's just too bad. This is the most unfriendly person I have met in my entire trip.
Very bad and rude service attitudes. The shaved ice just taste like ice with some bad chemical materials. He is the most rude person I’ve ever met in Hawaii. Please don’t come here.
Ice cream was decent but dude behind the counter is extremely rude, not worth the ice cream.don’t tip!
The worst service we’ve had in three trips to Hawaii. We turned up an hour before closing. Our son dashed over from where we were shopping at Crazy Shirts to make sure he got in before eight just in case it closed at eight (we now see that Google says nine pm). He was so excited for ice cream! We’d promised it and this was our first opportunity to buy him some that day. I was about 30 seconds behind him as he gleefully skipped into the store. As I approached, the door was slammed in my face, despite my son already being inside, and that awful hand-waving thing to shoo someone away was aggressively waved at me. “Go away! We‘re closed! ” proclaimed the pale faced proprietor snarling through contorted features. Unexpected, unnecessary abrupt, and rude tone. And strange as there were still 3 other people inside. We left with a very disappointed child. I can only assume something awful is happening in the proprietor's life. In a town where whole streets of stores are closed for good, it strikes me as odd that someone would not only turn away business but do their best to ensure we never attempt to go back again.
The rudest person I’ve ever come across in Hawaii, wouldn’t ever give them my business again.
I had the Cookie Monster. My new favorite flavor.
This shop has the most amazing combinations of flavors and toppings.
