Beautiful vista with some semi-private spaces if you're lucky enough to catch one unoccupied. Bring water shoes.

If you have dinner at Pond's restaurant and are fortunate enough to get a seat near the window that overlooks the restaurant's turtle pond, you will really be delighted. You will also see lots of big and beautiful koi swimming around. The turtle pond is on the property of the restaurant. It is walled off and surrounded by a larger body of water called the Ice Pond. It gets its name owing to the fact that this is where underground springs empty into Hilo Bay and the water is chilly.
