Uncle's NY Deli, Pizza, Pasta & Subs, Wahiawa HI

I used to love this place. I’m a big fan of Cold Cut subs. I went there today and ordered 3 of the New York Italian Specialty subs. I was very disappointed. And it cost me about $90! The subs had very little meat on them and no cheese. And the prices have gone up! Come on guys - really? I used to visit this place several times a week - but I’m done. You can rip someone else off…And I’m telling all of military friends who visit your place as well. Goodbye!

Update: Uncles has offered to redo another order - that was very generous.

Overall: great red sauce pizza, good other pizza, bad sandwiches.

This store has a great variety of unique pizza topping combinations. I tried the pepperoni, which was the most perfect piece of pepperoni pizza I can remember eating. The sauce paired well with the super tasty pepperoni sausage. The crust however is on another level, crispy on the bottom and soft and slightly chewy on the upper half.
The other type of pizza I had was not a typical tomato sauce base, and suffered because of it. It was still good, carried by the amazing crust and aromatic garlic and olive oil paring, but lacked the explosive addictiveness of the pepperoni slices.
Also, I do not recommend the sandwiches. My friend was extremely disappointed in the unbalanced creation given to him, which consisted of almost entirely peppers sandwiched between two thick slices of mediocre bread.

Not that great of an Italian sandwich. Bland roll made from old pizza dough, funny tasting meat as in off-tasting. No hot peppers, no onions, no mayo and no seasoning.

Pizza was better than average, but the sauce had nothing special about it. Salad was not great either. Not sure if they made the dressing, but if they did they need to reformulate it.

So many easy things they are missing out on and this place could easily be a 5 star.

Was great pizza. My colleagues had sandwiches and both agreed the food was great. Service was friendly and professional.

I've been enjoying having this place right outside Schofield Barracks. I've tried all of their slices, but Rambo (pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives) is my favorite!

New Yorker in a quest for a taste of home. This place is as close to a NY pizza tastes. Only place we will order pizza from now on.

Pitiful complete bull the prices are too high for such poor quality. Taste and texture was and is below standard's that ask for the kind of prices they want pizza edge was hard as cardboard the New York steak sub was something a five year old wouldn't look at and the don't check for COVID when you are dinning inside the establishment and don't say that someone is berating your staff when we are writng about the food if the food was bad and it's not prepared as you so body boast and then it's your fault your customers are the the. Ones who keep you in business. You need to remember that

Food was amazing. We stopped by there on our way to Waikiki from North shore. Definitely worth the trip.

Best pizza I've had here on Island. It does seem like it cost a lot but you get huge portions! If you're a wing person you're looking at about $2.50 per chicken wing (as of today's date)! They're definitely a lot bigger than wing stops tho! Restaurant always seems laid back. It's always clean in there. There is a delivery option but it is not done thru the restaurant itself. They also offer many more variety then just pizza and wings. Their garlic knots are always fresh as well! Been getting pizza from them 2.5 years now.

Easy to find. Decorated with NY items which if you’re from NY it feels homey! Pizza was delicious and definitely reminds me of NY pizza! Highly recommend. One slice is huge! I ordered two slices!

Was craving pasta. This did the trick. Had the Sausage and peppers with marinara sauce. Was more than enough and brought my leftovers home. Definitely will go back again to try some of the other menu items. My boss loves the pizza from here.

I’ve picked up from here a few times now and it’s been amazing each time. Pizza and antipasta salad are my go tos. Service is fast and friendly, easily best pizza on the islands and as good as any place on the mainland.

Been in here a couple times and the food is good. I have gotten the Cuban and it was made a different way each time I got it (strange). The pizza was good. Would recommend this place!
