United States Postal Service reviews
10I was physically assaulted by the mail courier with witnesses. This man should be fired immediately.
Called at 2 pm and phone message said post office was closed even though it closes at 4pm, phone system doesn't even recognize your in hawaii.and when you call the local # its busy 24/7 been calling for 4 days straight now and no answer.just trying to get a package re-delivered, but no one answers the phone!
Could do with more staff during busy times, but those that work there have been nothing but pleasant and helpful.
I know everyone has mixed reviews when it comes to postal services but I gotta say that the people here have been so efficient at their job and helpful. I need to send some packages internationally and the gentleman kindly help me figure out the most cost effective and realistic option with patience. They have been very nice and I have to say that I really appreciate their help. Thank you!
As a tourist visiting, the lady agent was superb and patient. Thanks for helping us figure out the process to send a package. Mahalo!
Clerk 11 was extremely rude and disrespectful to my son, mailing a package today! She would not print out and attach the mailing sticker on the package! I had a hand written label, and when he had that she abruptly and rudely said, that needed attached prior to approaching the counter, then he had to tape it on the package, himself and then she states, you know that is our tape you are using"!
Excuse me.it's "our" tape as I am a tax paying citizen and last time I checked its "our" dollars paying your wage. You did not spread Aloha, today!
To top it off, I called asked to speak with the manager, left my name and number, with no return phone call!
Shame on your behavior and treatment of a young man, I know you would not have spoken to him this way, or treated him like this if I had been standing next to him!
Mahola
My regular Post Office and people working there are consistently friendly and professional.
Pick up window before and after hours is a lie. The workers will not come to window, they shouted to us that we will have to wait for the main office to open. 15 minutes after window was to be open nothing. Signage of not being available is not posted. Makes our community look lazy and lacking in basic federal service.
They keep losing my packages. I had a yellow card in my mailbox, went to pick up my package but they couldn't find it. Tried again the next day (today) and they said it must not have been processed because they can't find it. Promises to give me a call when they find it but stated they are short staffed (like everyone else on the island). Poor excuse.
The people who work there are nice enough, I have a few favorites but no “enemies” so to speak. 2 stars is because the operating hours here are ridiculous. As someone who works 8-5 it’s nearly impossible for me to pick up a package. Especially because the line for package pickups is only open a couple of hours in the morning. Sometimes I’m in line for 1 package for half my lunch break. It’s frustrating. Most USPS locations in the US are open until 6 or so week days aaaand 4 hours on Saturday is also not impressive unfortunately.
