Volcano Pizza Kauai, Koloa HI

Place was hoppin around closing time, snagged a mobile take out order - pepperoni pie for pick up. Tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile - disappointing my quest for a decent pizza in Hawaii continues

Cannot rate the pizza bc we waited over 45 minutes for it only to be told it’d be another possibly 20-30 mins. Looked around and realized many tables didn’t have pizza yet. Meanwhile to go pizza orders flying out the door non-stop. Server was sweet and visibly frustrated at the state of affairs/mismanagement ie dine in customers getting low priority. She basically suggested we cancel our order which we reluctantly did and left - hungry. The meatball appetizer was mediocre and margarita from the bar was from a mix and sub par. Don’t bother.

Avoid this place like the plague. Live music was okay at best. Terrible service and the food was mediocre at best. Extremely disappointed! At $25.00 a plate, you would think that you would be eating a fairly reasonable meal. And.the fettuccine dish was served with Spaghetti noodles. This place is a joke!

Great food and people here. Had a pepperoni and pineapple pizza, a marguerite and a chicken pesto. All were fantastic! The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. All in all great food and people would definitely eat here again.

Everything was pretty good. Didn't seem too busy but service for getting drinks was a bit slow for what I'd think it should take. Pizza was decent, appetizers were decent. Nothing bad. All pretty good and tasted good.

The pizza was great and they had a really delicious gluten free crust. Our waiter Luke was the nicest guy ever. Highly recommended

Stopped by on a whim while on vacation. The pizza was GREAT and the Nutella Calzone for dessert was amazing!

Perfect place to grab a pizza on the island. Service is absolutely fantastic and the pizza is good! Ambience is average and nothing special but a great option to crush your pizza cravings.

Dough was undercooked and ended up with severe food poisoning the next morning in September 2023. Ruined my entire vacation. Watch out!

The pizza was just ok. The service wasn't bad it just wasn't around much. After we got seated and waited for a while, I told my daughter if our sever didn't arrive within 5 minutes, we were leaving. The hostess was nice and helped out by getting our water, but the server took forever to come to the table, and it was a slow night. -

First timer and not really impressed. Passed by this place numerous times before stopping for dinner. Ordered the bbq wings, furikake crusted calimari, and pepperoni pizza. Wings were okay and the best of the trio. Calimari wasn’t very good, mostly just a plate of breading topped with a few naked calimari pieces. Pizza was very bready, light on the cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. Service was excellent, unfortunately the food wasn’t as good here.

Great service! The pizza was just alright. I wasn’t a big fan of the breadsticks. The menu didn’t have a Hawaiian Pizza! Not even a variant such as Tropical Heat. Embrace the cliche.

Food and staff are both amazing!

Staff - The staff at this restaurant truly goes above and beyond! I managed to leave my purse at the table after dinner. We were heading to the airport and our server remembered this comment. Upon arriving to check in I noticed I didn’t have my purse. We called the restaurant and the manager, Everett, personally drove it to me at the airport in Lihue from Poipu. HUGE!

Food- our dinner before all the craziness was amazing! I am gluten free and it is hard to fine good GF pizza. This cauliflower crust was delicious! Bonus - no added cost for GF. Pizza was only slightly smaller than their normal size but it was still plenty big enough for two.

Vibe - casual and local. Loved the live music too!

Just what we needed after a long day on the beach. Tasty pizza and cold drinks. We had a great server. Staff all seemed very friendly.

Had the gluten free pizza and it did not make me sick. It's not the best pizza I've had but it served well enough. The restaurant is open air with a roof to protect from sun and rain. No reservation and no wait Thurs night at 7pm. Fast and friendly service. Family friendly and with local patrons.

Really good pizza! Crispy crust, great toppings. Really hit the spot. Probably the best pizza on the island. Good service and clean facilities.
Only minor gripe would be to have a dinner or side salad available with the pizza (only full sized salads available).
Will definitely eat here again!

Margherita pizza was said to be the best, so I ordered it, but the cheese is fantastic. I also really enjoyed the chicken wings. The servers were all friendly and nice.
