Great hotel in a magnificent location. The beach is right across the street and the views from the balcony are to kill for. The housekeeping and the front desk staff were excellent. They ran out of valet parking on our visit but directed us to a nearby parking structure and validated our tickets every day.

Great location, a short walk to the beach. Very modern and clean. Accommodating to guests who have red-eye flights. We enjoyed our stay.

The Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger recently hosted over 60 WWII Veterans, their caretakers, our staff and sponsors for a week while we were here for the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor. A huge MAHALO to Kiana, Pam, Edwin, the housekeeping staff, and everyone who was involved in going above and beyond for our group. This trip meant everything and more to our Veterans, and we are so grateful for the hospitality, care, service and attentiveness we received throughout our stay!

Fantastic hotel, super modern, in the center of all the action and across from the beach. Super clean, friendly service. Maui Brewing Company and Hawaiian Aroma Cafe right on site. I recommend to upgrade to the deluxe ocean view room for an amazing view of the ocean and diamond head. Valet parking only, $40 a night with in & out privileges, fast and friendly service. Reservations for the pool are no longer required only for the fitness center.

Overall a great location with reasonable prices and good amenities. Not the most lavish but fairly nice and good value point. And again, great location, a block from the beach, right on the main street of wakiki surrounded by shops and restaurants, centrally located. Has a small pool and a good bar, decent restaurant and both have good live music nightly

Excellent location in the center of Kalakoa avenue, kind hospitable staff, very clean comfortable rooms, well lit and classy lobby area. We loved our stay here during the 2021 holiday season. Kristin at the front desk has so much energy and is super courteous. House keeping us very prompt, polite and responds quickly. The hip coffee shop was a hit with my kids and for good reason. The gym is amazingly clean and well ventilated - during covid proof of vaccine is needed to book a time slot which feels safe. The pool though small is quiet and very safe for families with young children. The coffee shop overlooking the pool area is a nice way to put your feet up and relax with a drink in hand while watching your kids in the pool. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

The Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger recently hosted over 60 WWII Veterans, caretakers, staff and sponsors for a week as they attended the Pearl Harbor Commemoration. The hotel staff went above and beyond each day tending to their needs. Also important to note was the fact that the Hotel & Staff had to deal with record rainfall which caused challenges to the entire area. I would like to thank each Hotel Employee who assisted this very large group.

Stayed here for several nights while in Waikiki Beach. Hotel is right on the main street, and although its not on the beach, its literally a 2-3 min walk to Waikiki Beach. Hotel room seemed newly renovated - it was definitely a bit kitschy, and for some reason replaced/revamped everything in the room but the light switches and plugs that were old and yellow, it was at least clean and a decent size. Would recommend as it was a good price and had a pretty decent stay!

OK value. They’ve got a great location where you can conveniently explore the entirety of Waikiki from. Everything is basic in terms of a 3-star hotel.

Pros: great pool with jacuzzi and unlimited beach towel + sunscreen supply. Reasonably sized rooms. Awesome valet service with unlimited in n out and super helpful staff!

Cons: pricy self service laundry with only 3 washing machines. You have to pay to borrow a microwave.

Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger was the perfect hotel for our first visit to Waikiki. Check in was easy and the room was stylish, clean, and had an amazing view. My wife and I loved that it was right in the center of Waikiki, minutes from the beach and tons of great restaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They accommodated a late checkout on our last day so we could lounge in a cabana by the pool and eat waffles from the cafe! Thank you for the excellent stay.

Anything you could possibly need is in this hotel. It is so conveniently close to the beach. The very best coffee shop and restaurant on the island. You definitely want to experience the art gallery downstairs. The hotel, Beachcomber, is one of those places you will book time and time again. You will definitely be rubbing shoulders with the locals because they know all these secret places as well.

The best location to be in the heart of urban waikiki! The hotel is smack in the middle of the royal Hawaiian mall and international Market. 5 min walk to the beach and ABC stores. The room is designed with simple elegance. Their lotion smells of a nice coconut scent. And I am obsessed with their cute cafe downstairs! They have a good selection of breakfast items and has a full bar all day! Plus I love those music Playlist and its connected to the pool area AND Maui Brewing Co. They have a nice concierge area that can help you with any excusion questions. What more do you need?

Booked this hotel via Hotwire and really enjoyed it. This place has a nice fresh feel to it and the room was well appointed and clean. I splurged for an ocean view king bed room and it was money well spent. Absolutely beautiful views of Waikiki and the Pacific. Spent each morning drinking coffee on the lanai while watching the surfers. Each night was spent with a cold drink in hand while the sun was setting. Great food options here too. Maui Brewing and the cafe/bar off of the lobby were excellent. Staff was friendly too. Will 100% stay there again. Where location, value and quality meet.

An unforgettable experience as my first family vacation. The staff really made this the most amazing experience and I really want to call out Taciana, our housekeeper, who treated my family like we were her own. She was so sweet to my 1 year old daughter and wife, and she got along so well with my parents and in laws. I'll remember her the most from our stay here. She went out of her way to be kind and gave the most wonderful hospitality, making our visit away from home feel almost as if we were at home. Anyone who stays at this hotel will feel like they got to visit paradise. While being pleasantly surprised at how everyone here feels like family. This must be what heaven feels like.

Great environment, good food, reasonably priced, family friendly and Covid complient. Only thing holding back 5* is that service is a little slow. Nice if you're there to enjoy company of friends/family, but if you want a meal and get out to do things not great.

Great hotel with the friendliest staff! We had a room with a partial ocean view which also overlooked the street. It could get a little loud at night but it wasn’t terrible! The beach is not even a 2 minute walk across the street and there are a lot of food places nearby.

There are also places to rent a car nearby (obviously rent in advance) or there is also Hui.

Overall the stay was great! The housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean for us every day. If we happened to be in the room when they stopped by they asked if they could come in and were very mindful of our belongings. The housekeeping staff we met were very nice! The staff at the front desk were also extremely nice and made sure to take the time to treat you like you were family and had a great stay.

Only problem I encountered was the shower randomly stopped working mid-shower and turned itself on and off a few times before it went back to working. The staff were very accommodating! They sent someone up from maintenance and even offered me another room so that I could finish my shower while they figured out what was going on.

Our room had a mini fridge and a Keurig but no microwave which wasn’t a huge deal. The hotel has Maui brewing company, a coffee shop with the pool (didn’t go so cant comment on them) and a small shop where you can find some snacks for your room or souvenirs. If you can’t find what you’re looking for there, you can find an ABC store on practically every corner.

The hotel takes security seriously. You need to have your room key to get on the elevator or to even use the bathroom in the lobby. I’ve never stayed at a hotel like that before but I appreciated that extra level of security! I also saw security walking around frequently.

I highly recommend staying here! I lived on Oahu for about 10 years and sadly had to move back to the mainland. This was my first vacation in over 5 years and working ICU during the pandemic I decided I wanted to go back for a mental vacation. If you are planning a trip to Hawaii and aren’t sure where to stay, I recommend staying here. I am already planning my next trip back and another hotel isn’t even an option! 4 coworkers are talking about making trips in the coming year and asked for a recommendation and I said without a doubt the Beachcomber!

Nice rooms &' very nice &' a little fancy-ness to how the rooms were designed. I kinda like it, but a little expensive to rent a room for a day or however long it is.
