Wailoa River State Recreation Area reviews
14Staff was nice. Enjoyed the art inside and surrounding grounds were well kept. Great place to picnic and relax
Picnic tables, a rotating display art museum, with brideways over the lagoon, and grassy areas. There are a few entrances and parking areas on either side of the water. A gold statue of King Kamehameha can be seen from Bayfront.
The renovation of the pavilions is wonderful. They are clean and well lit. The road is newly paved as well.
We were there for Bonsai show and plant sale. It was at the Wailoa Center which is a big, beautiful artful place. Wonderful setting for bonsai. Show was incredible. Plants sale, awesome. Parking lot too.
Nice park for feeding ducks, fishing, roller skating, AA Meetings daily at 8: 00 am, pavilion birthday parties and other local celebrations. Quiet and peaceful meditation with hughe banyan and other trees. I love it.

It is a beautiful serene area to go walking or have a picnic or just sit and meditate while watching the ducks swim.
I go everyday.it's beautiful.if you are planning a visit, please take your trash with you.
Awesome park. Tons of grass, lots on the water or can see the ocean. Cool bridges, very clean and safe.
Excellent use of space in a flood prone area, with new walking trails and picnic facilities. However, I miss the disc golf course. Still a great spot to eat take out lunch from Manono market or Suisan.
Beautiful design with exercise on nice walks with your frens partners or animals. Peaceful long walk with beauty in design
Big, beautiful park, with lots of different types of birds, fish, trees, and plants. There are numerous pavilions and restrooms located throughout. I'm not sure if it is dog friendly, but it is a very large park, and I easily found areas where there were no people
Nice quiet little park. Fishing is never really that good here. But good place to relax or run or whateva.
Very nice park. It’s not normally as crowded as Liliuokalani park and there are ducks and geese.
